Remarks :

This college consist of a numerous centre of excellence directly collabrated and conducted by industry people. These centre of excellence provides industrial knowledge with hands on experience. There are many centre of excellence for core circuit and IT streams.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is autonomous and here choice based credit system is followed. This gives students maximum time to prepare technically in their preferred feilds and acquire maximum knowledge by combining with the industry.

Placement Experience :

There is an industrial attachment program that helps students to work closely with industrial experts and gain experience. These are programs starts from 2nd year and continue till the 8th semester. So if the students are interested they can get placed in their respective industries they undergone training.

College Events :

Not only curricular they also provides grater support for extra curricular activities that helps the students to work for their passion and make them to get involved to work with the team there are different clubs that helps the students to work on their respective Passions

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees here is not expensive when compared to all other engineering colleges. The fees will be quite feasible and the management also helps the students those are financially backward by providing with the scholarship yearly.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college management provides scholarship for financially backward students and the deserved ones with some yearly scholarship amount. That can help them to cope up with the college fees.over 200 students gets their scholarship every year.

Campus Life :

The college playground and sports facilities are really good. They are really good in conducting sports and several trophies and intracollege events. There are seperate grounds for hockey cricket volleyball basketball throwball kho kho.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure is awesome that can accommodate upto 1800 students and food are good in quality. It also provides with the library and cloth washing centres and playground and promote students organisation as a committee to help the students with their queries and request.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

They have a well connected alumini association that helps students to connect to all industries and also conduct student talent enhancement program for the interaction between the students and alumni that helps the students much to connect with the industry people.

Admission :

The admission process is quite simple that after completing the higher secondary schooling in Tamilnadu they usually conduct councilling for the students who are applied for engineering there are different criteria based on cut off marks this TNEA councilling paved the way to get into this college

Faculty :

The Faculties in our college are highly professional and qualified. Helping students to get well versed in their respective intrested domain is their main motto they help students with all their doubts and clarification with keen explanations.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
