Remarks :

Yes all I can say is positive more. The college is a different experience alltogether and it teaches you alot throughout your course. The academics is really good and on top of that the infrastructure is appreciable too.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is well framed. All important issues of media are selected and hence we have different subjects. The exam structure is quite disciplined. Exams take place every semester with fairness & no delay.

Placement Experience :

The placements are one thing that need to be looked into. Im into final year and I dont know if the placements will be great or not. The college doesn't provide internships but you have to seek internships on your own. I interned in two well reputed media companies.

College Events :

The students organise an annual media fest Spandan every year in the college which is very exciting and enrishing for the students who gain alot of experience from the event. They get to learn alot of things like team work, discipline etc

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is quite feasible. We cannot say that it is very expensive as it 86300 for one year. It is a normal fee which is being charged by the colleges in Delhi too. However, the fees can be lowered down a bit.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No I dont know about any good scholarship facility. My college doesnot provide loan facilities however there are various schemes at university level that help bring those who cannot pay the fee to justice.

Campus Life :

Yes there are various labs and activities that take place. However my college is a study oriented college and not much of such activities take place. We have the space for sports etc where we can play in our free time

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network is not that strong as we hardly communicated with our seniors. Even after the seniors passed out, there is less communication from them which is a drawback. It is expected that this will change in future.

Admission :

I filled the Centralised Entrance Exam and Cleared it with All India Rank 128. However there are less seats for Outside Delhi Students, So I got my seat in spot/open counselling. I chose the college because it was the best college of GGSIPU University.

Faculty :

The faculty comes from Media backgrounds and have had an experience in the field. They are well trained and know how to teach students and get the most out of them. Faculty encourages students to go for internships and for their desired careers.

The course curriculum is not up to expectations, journalism requires a lots of comprehensive study which sadly lack in our college. There is no proper media lab , lack of equipment lesser the experience of study.

My college provides many facilities like News Room, Conference Hall, Editing Room, Chroma Studio, Computer Lab, Classroom, Sound & Radio Studio, TV Studio and Learning Resource Center. Our college library includes the latest references, periodicals, journals, magazines, and books. In addition to textbooks recommended by the University.

Entrance Preview:

There was no entrance exam and admissions were taken on the basis of the percentage acquired in 12th class. I chose the course because i did not make it to NIFT Delhi which was my first option but this being the second option to reach to masses, i joined this course.

Admission:

This is the only procedure for admission. The centralised Delhi University form that comes somewhere near April is the form that needs to be filled for this. When the cutoffs are out in June/July, we need to take all the required documents to the college.

Remarks:

The college topped in all aspects in providing the mass communication students the studio and equipment facilities. One thing that always touched my heart was the facilities for the PWD/blind students. The college infrastructure makes sure they are comfortable and self-reliant all the time.

Remarks:

Somewhere college management was not up to date. They charged fine if any student is not completing their 75% attendance for exam Hall ticket. So I hated this system and even now I don't support this corrupt way.
