Remarks :
My overall experience in the college is not very good. The classes are of very long duration. One will get tired during the lectures. The management is not student friendly at all. They are business minded.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is vast. Eight semesters in four years. Each semster has eight subjects. There will be two internal exams in each semester. The total marks for internal exams is thirty. The total marks for each subject is 100.
Placement Experience :
The placement is okay. The number of mechanical students getting placed is pretty good. But, the job they get is as good as that of labourers. The salary stands are Rs 10000. Hence, it is as good as not getting any job. The college doesn't provide any internship.
College Events :
The only events are sports and Annual function. That is all. No other event or function is organised. Freshers party and farewell are organised on small scale. The college doesn't finance these things.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee depends upon you. If you can bargain, you will get a reasonable rate. But, if you can't bargain, they will take you for granted and increase the price. Then, reduce a certain amount as if you are paying too less.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
You can opt for different scholarships of the state government and the central govenrment. The instituition does not provide seperate scholarships to meritorious students. As far as the loans are concerned, you will have to contact the specific bank.
Campus Life :
No extra curricular activities at all. You reach the college in the morning. Go to the class and attend the class, immediately. Then you get half an hour break for lunch then class till evening. The labs are not in a very good condition. No sports whatsoever.
Hostel Facilities :
No, I did not opt for hostel. But, many of my friends did stsy in hostel. The rooms are okay. The food is as bad as that of any other hostel in any other college. The warden is somewhat strict. But overall, it is good.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumni network is very weak. You can not get in contact with any of the alumnus easily. The are all not in a very good condition, themsleves. The seniors are busy eith their classes. So, there is little chamce of interaction.
Admission :
Appearing in Joint Entrance Examination. Selecting the college as first option after clearing the exam. If you are eligible, then your name appears in the merit list. Contact the college before hand. They wilp giude you.
Faculty :
The faculty members are inexperienced. They are not helpful at all. Their knowledge is not enough at all. The management only thinks about earning money and doesn't bother about the students. The standard of teaching is poor.
