You can choose Darshan college if you stay in gujarat state. It's a good option for civil engineering and computer engineering. hostel facilities are available here too. good placements, open environment & good teaching method.

Course Curriculum Overview

In computer department. It's very good faculty and good environment. Professor focuses on theory as well as practical too after 50% completion of course 1st mid term exam college takes and after 100% full course exams for everyone.

placement is very good, so many reputed companies comes for recruitment in our college. College is not providing internship for students. my experience is good , here we get so many opportunity in our interest of field

College Events

Almost every festivals are celebrated in our college. and so many events are organized by our college so students can enjoy college life with study. in some event student perform some new science tricks. Everybody shows their extraordinary talent on platform.

Campus Life

College organise gaming competition for state level , university level and give opportunity to student to play sports and stay healthy. Internal games like chess , table tennis and outdoor games like cricket , football etc

Alumni/Alumna

in our college nothing like Senior juniors. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and takes cares of each other always and always helpful to everyone and always available to give advice to each other

Admission

After 12th, in may 2016 merit list declared and i got admission according to merit list. For merit list it calculates average of main 5 subject of 12th science thenGujarat board declares a list of student merit list and according to criteria everyone get admission

Faculty

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
