Remarks :

Collge have very good infrastructure, great lab facility,Very helpful faculty and great alumini network.Last years overall pass percentage was great and placement number are very good.Anyway the politics in campus is not very good.A good campus politics culture is still not achieved.

Course Curriculum Overview :

KTU offers a very impressive, upto date curriculam.There will be 8 semesters.In every semester you need to attend 2 internal exams for 6 subjects and two labs.End semester exam will be of 100 marks, 45 to pass

Placement Experience :

College of engineering trikaripur have a very effective training and placement cell.As of 2019 placement statistics 55+ offers are given to fifty + students. Many MNCs are come here for placement drive including TCS,INFOSYS,CTS etc

College Events :

College arts is one of the major event, and it will go on for 5 days. CET also have a national level tech fest called Inqua.college will conduct events on Onam,christmas etc. Final years day and college union day is another big celebration in cet

Fee Structure And Facilities :

There are 3 fee categories. Merit,management and NRI seats. In merit seat, it will be 35000 per year and management seat will cost you loke 75000 per year.For nri seats you need to deposit 1 lack quotion deposit and for each year fee is 1 lack

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Banks will provide educational loans if you provide your fee structure and many scholarships like E grants are available for students.NRI students cant apply for educational loan. There are scholarships for minority/muslim category students

Campus Life :

College arts is a very big celebration there.Arts will go like 5 full straight days.College supports sports activities and provides a dwdicated building for games and stuff.Labs in here are well maintained and top notch. Most of the equipments in the labs are state of the art grade

Hostel Facilities :

There are 4 hostels are available.one is ladies hostel and it is maintained by college itself.other three hostels are for men.Mens hostels are private. Most of them have good infrastructure.All of these hostels are very near to college.Boys hostel doesnt have mess,so you may have to eat outside

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumini network of CET is pretty strong.they conduct many events on college,donate for celbrations etc.Senior students will surely support you to get a career and in every major employment city, you can find cetians.

Admission :

You need to attend KEAM entrance examination,after the rank list is published,opt for your desired college and course.Based on your rank and plus two scores they will declare allotement results.There will be atleast 3 allotements following the trial allotment

Faculty :

I was a computer science engineering student.Faculty in CSE department was extremely good.They were well qualified and efficient enough to deliver the curriculum.Faculty will sure help on your every academic needs

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
