Remarks

My college was my most happiest place and period of my life. I don't want to end it now. no negative remarks to be given by me till now. This is my place of peace and I have good friendship here.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

MBBS is the most Noble professional course. I think I'm blessed to have MBBS seat. Exams are done annually once. Every year, Feb they conduct the University exams as well as practicals and the marks are published within a month.

Placement Experience

4.5

As this is Mbbs course. No placements are provided as much as our course is concerned. But in the University itself they give 1 year of internship with the sty fund. They give atmost spl importance for us to teach.

College Events

4.5

There are varying number of events organised by the student council in a year, Starting from 1. White course Ceremony - for welcoming the Fresher's 2. Men's Hostel day 3. Women's Hostel day 4. Tamil Manram 5. Republic day functions 6. Fresher's day 7. Intra and InterCollege sports meet 8. Intra and InterCollege Cultural events. Etc are conducting every year

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very much feasible as I get it in a Merit list Yearly I have to spend 7000-8000 as a tuition fee And for books it's upto 25000. Totally around 50000 will be the expenditure. It is much feasible for a middle class family person like me

Fees and Financial Aid

State and central government scholarship will be available. Loan will be given. Students loan will be availed from our academy itself. Both academy and hostel scholarship to be availed separately from the govt.

Campus Life

3.5

All categories of sports are there like cricket, volleyball, football, badminton, athletic events, track events, swimming, all kinds of extra curricular activities are there. Music and orchestra are good.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumnus group are good as well as I seen. They help us in each and every aspect of our academic as well as on extra curricular side. They are our biggest pillar of support in the college. Senior Junior relationship is good.

Admission

As I got 95% in 12th marks and my mbbs merit cut off is 197.25. I got selected in Medical councelling and I got the seat in Thoothukudi Government Medical College. But now the curriculum has changed to entrance based admission.

Faculty

4.5

We have almost 15 departments to attend. Here I see the variable mentalities of faculties Who is some are very much good and friendly to very much rude faculties. But we have to cross all the faculties to achieve our goal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally like science so i took up this course. The college prepares you very well for the real world. By the end of the 5years you would become a full fledged doctor. The current teaching methods are fine but more of mcqs should be concentrated rather than theory writing. According to me the internals are fine but the university exams are very difficult.

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Competency Based Medical Education (CBME) is pretty relevant to today's needs of a doctor, with more competency based skill learning and regular assessment of students, along with subjects like attitude, ethics and communication skills, pandemic modules etc. The only disadvantage is it still has a few redundant systems such as record maintenance etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a doctor, I can help people a lot. There is a lot to study and knowing the human body, to cure disease, and much more is a great experience. The curriculum prepares me to do great in my future endeavors. The thing I think they lack is a bit more clinical exposure for all students separately. Teaching methods are all good. They conduct exams after each important section, they teach. Around 6-7, internal exams are kept.
