Placement Experience :

The placement unit provides students with career guidance through seminars, workshops, industry visits. The students placed in companies like Reliance, Mahindra, SBI, IDBI Bank etc with an average package of 2-3 Lakhs.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The tuition fees per semester is 27,500 costing totally only 1,70,000 over 3 years for the BBA Degree. This amount has to be in 2 installments of 85,000 annually with 5000 caution money which is refundable.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are scholarships based on merit, 15% for students scoring above 90%, 10% for students between 85-89.95 and 5% for students with a score between 75-84.9%. Along with this, students in blood relation get 5% scholarship in their tuition fees.

Hostel Facilities :

Both girls and boys hostel has NON-A/C single, double and triple sharing rooms at different prices along with basic lodging amenities and along with transport facilities for girls as it is not on the campus. There are extra food charges according to their diet.

Admission :

The admission selection of applications received online takes place on the basis of merit list in 10+2 after completing the minimum requirement of 45%. Along with this candidate's extra curricular activities are also considered

Great institute with lot of courses

Remarks:

All is good. Except hostel condition and old syllabus. But they are working on it too. I also dont like student politics in my university. Intense fights between diffent student parties are there from time to time.

The bba which is provided by the guru Bahra university is really good as it is affiliated to union bodies and its considered as state university and best in Himachal Pradesh with being of affiliation fees and infrastructure so there is no comparison between BU and other university which takes lot of money and doesn't give the good.

Entrance Preview:

I appeared in the general entrance test in university of himachal at shimla becoz in my father's opinion universities are more relieble than private institutes.Got selected in mlsm college for bba course. Then i had to appear in interview by management department head.Thereby i got selected and my journey started.

At the end of the fifth semester a lot of companies used to arrive at college for placements. I got hired as corporate sales officer by tata indicom.
