Placement Experience :

College has tie up with many firms. Many industry powered companies has their labs in which we are trained. Many companies come for campus placement, to name a few, EMRILL Dubai, HCL, Infosys, TCS, TVS, etc. Internship are also provided in partnering companies.

College Events :

Our college hosts number of events such as cultural, technical, sports, festivals, etc. Mira Techno Fest, MiraMiracle, Pongal, State weightlifting Championship, graduation day, sports meet, etc. They are conducted at very big level where participation is from various colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee at AMCET is feasible. College provide many facility and good education. Fee for 4 year Bachelor of Engineering course is about 1.80- 2 lakh rupees. Hostel, transportation and other charges are extra. Student can pay this in parts in yearly basis.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship is provided to students who has scored more than 70% in their 10+2. Scholarship is also provided by Anna university. Loan facilities are provided by many banks which can be availed by students as required.

Campus Life :

Our college organises many extra curricular activities and encourage us to participate in those. Many lectures and projects are scheduled from time to time. Workshops are organised in their respective field of study. Lab such as Communications,microwave, DSP, VLSI, Digital electronics, microprocessor, Pg simulation labs etc are available. Both indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available. Carrom, table tennis, football, cricket, weightlifting, basketball etc are available.

Hostel Facilities :

Residential hostel facilities are provided. 4 storied residential apartment is for both boys and girls separately. Hostel has very good environment, good facilities, study room, different individual rooms, indoor and outdoor sports, etc. Mess at all building with hygienic food is available.

Admission :

I got admission in Bachelor of Engineering course through counseling conducted under TNEA by Anna university. I got this college based on my marks secured in 12th standard in counseling. A student must be 10+2 passed in physics, chemistry and maths. With our 12th score we have to apply for TNEA counseling.

Faculty :

Our college has very good faculty. They are well educated and have good academic records. Our faculty is well qualified and good at teaching. They guide us for future course. They help us in solving our doubts. They are always available to help. They are very good in teaching practicals in labs.

Review of placement

Placement Experience:

From 5th senester students are eleigible for the placements. So your 5th semester cgpa is very important. This college provide placements from companies like zoho, accenture, tcs , hexaware, mitsogo and more. The highest package is 12Lakhs and lowest package us 3lakhs.60 percentage of students are getting placed each year. Its fully depend on your skills. My plan is to place in campus placements for a web developer role.

Panimalar : A paradise For The Learners

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible fro the placements and attends interviews from the sixth semester. And the college starts to provide special placeement training from the end of the sixth semester. Even I'm still not eligible to attend the college placements, I hear a lot from my seniors about the placements. From those informations, some of the major and high paying companies like Accenture, Infosys, Sutherland often approach college for the placement. I have no knowledge about the highest package but average package could be ranging from 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 LPA. The highest number of students that are getting placed are from Dept. of AI&DS. With overall count of students attending more than 50% students passes the aptitude and reasoning test round, 15% of students passes the Group Discussion round, and only 5-6% students passes the HR round and getting placed. I personally started to hate these 9-5 jobs after hearing from the seniors who got placed in so called "best IT companies". So, my short term plan is to get placed in a high paying IT company and work till i get fired by any means. My major and long term plan is to start a business with all the savings that I've saved from my job.
