Remarks :

At the time when I joined here it was good and later on due to some issues it has changed a lot. As there are Nineteen Institutions I think its difficult to maintain all these Nineteen Institutions. And from this year they have increased the fees too.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was good. There will be two internal exams, a missed test and a improvement test. Those who didn't attend the internal exams can attend the missed test and those who got low marks in internal exams can attend improvement test.

Placement Experience :

Placements were good and more companies visited here. But as there are more institution in same campus more number of students will attend along with us. So this was a drawback compared to institutions which has only one colleges.

College Events :

As there is 19 Institutions events are will happen more occasionally.If any festival arrives all the institutions will celebrate these festival . So it will take more number of days as every institution has to celebrate these festivals.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

While I am studying there the fee Structure was feasible for counseling that is government quota and a bitter expensive for management quota. It's not a big difference as management quota in every institution is expensive.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships are provided . There are certain eligibility criteria as per the government norms. So only the candidates who satisfies those eligiblity criteria availed those scholarships. For hostel students they provided higher scholarships.

Campus Life :

Everything was good. Extracurricular activities were conducted frequently and was conducted in founder hall. As there were 19 Institutions in our campus there will be something happening frequently in the founder hall.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes. They were helpful. Senior students helped us in both academics and other activities too. During first year we were in a separate block that is academic block and after that we were into our department.

Admission :

I got admission through counselling.I applied for the Tamilnadu Engineering Admission Counselling and attended the counselling and got admission in this college.I joined here on 2015 and studied there till 2019.

Faculty :

The faculties are good and friendly.As there are 19 Institution over there more faculties are available there. In my department around fifty three faculties were there. They not only guided us in academics but they also guided us for our career.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
