College Events :

It has euphoria and alegria fest every year. Alegria is of Panvel pillai but pilloc hoc students can attend it. And Pillai hoc has euphoria both fests happens in January. Both fests are Mumbai and Navi Mumbai's biggest festivals. It has dj night in which foreign stars and Indian big names are invited plus tech fests etc. Festival is the biggest pros of this college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is a little expensive. It's around 90,000 per year.You can pay in 2 installments. Payment should be completed before viva. Without payment, you're not allowed to sit in end semester exam. You to pay fees in even semester like start of the year. Example all odd semester 1,3,5,7

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Govt. Provides around 50,000 to the bank directly for students which have home income lower than 4lacs lpa. A student has to pay the whole fees after 2-3 months they will receive the money from govt. Directly to the bank account.

Campus Life :

It has a big ground where basketball,football,marathon etc happens. They are good but participants from engg. Branches are low. If you're good in sports you can apply for state level competition and can get free hostel including mess if you're selected.

Hostel Facilities :

It's 50,000 for hostel for a year including mess charges and cleaning facility. Infrastructure is very good. Theres 9 floors each floor has different engg. Branches. Class rooms are big enough. Practical labs has all the instruments and are also big enough.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

There's no ragging. Seniors are very helpful. If you ask help they're helpful otherwise they don't even care who you are or what you're doing. All are friendly. The environment is very friendly. The only drawback is the village near the college sometimes very rarely fight happens between college student and village student.

Admission :

I applied in cap rounds from dte maharastra, in cap rounds we have to give list of 100 colleges and I placed pillai hoc on the top and I got it. I choosed pillai hoc because it's near mumbai and has hostel facilities but remember there are 2 pillai one in panvel and one in rasayani the difference is rasayani pillai is called pillai hoc it has big campus and has extra branchs of engineering like civil engineering etc. When you get your college from cap round you have to visit the college ans submit your documents ( school leaving,caste validity,caste certificate,marksheet of 10th and 12th etc) and pay the fees of course and hostel fees if you apply for it then attend the counseling lecture. Then you're done this all process has end in August approx and college starts from mid of july or starting of August.

Before you apply for admission

Placement Experience:

The placement was good in this College I was placed in TCS with 3.5 LPA and 40k incentives. The highest package is around 7 - 8 LPA. There are companies like TCS, Wipro, LTI, Zeus, Hexaware, Evosys etc. Around 40% of students get placed. As I said the highest package is up to 8L and the average package is around 3.5L to 4L.

Best Part of my Life to enter in this college

Placement Experience:

In DIET their is a training and placement center. They provide so much opportunities for students, From the third year's last semester students are eligible for campus placement. In DIET so many companies are visited like Acmhe infotech, Cooper corporation, Vodafone, Idea, Square yards, etc. Almost 70 to 80 percent students get placed from college.
