Entrance Preview :
This college has got a very good name in Eastern India. After all, I wanted to choose a college which has a good academic record and a good placement record. The college must have a good study environment must have a group of good experienced faculties. GITA has everything, so I opted for it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This college has a collection of good and experienced faculties, so they made everything quite easy. Moreover, the library has a collection of a good number of text and reference books, which were just sufficient. The study environment and the timing of the library made everything possible.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, our college provides us with a good scope for it. Our faculty members always motivate us, the importance of all these internships. They arrange a study tour for us, to various industries, so that we can visualize its practical utilities. The stipend is provided as per the rule of the government.
Placement Experience :
It has an excellent placement record among the top 10 private engineering colleges of Odisha. Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, and BYJU etc. are the major recruiters who provide a good job opportunity for the students here. Around 25% of the whole mass prefer for higher studies like MTech, MBA etc.
College Events :
AKANSHA is the main attraction that the students wait for. It is the name of the annual function, which students take part in a huge interest. GITA is not only famous for its academics record, but it also has earned a good name in the sport like cricket, football, volleyball, and kabaddi.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is feasible, as per the rate set by the Odisha government. The most honest part of this college is that there is no hidden cost. Students need not pay the whole amount at the beginning of the semester but need to be sure that before the end of the semester at least 50% of the amount is paid.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college has a special department known as scholarship department which takes care of all sorts of scholarship, and students especially SC & ST category students take full advantage of that.
Campus Life :
One of the best college in Odisha, which just likes second home to me. Thanks to this college which provided me such a good friend circle. Thanks to this college which enhanced my practical knowledge by arranging annual Tech fest, sports various competitions, which made me successful today.
Hostel Facilities :
First-year students have a common hostel boys and girls separate within the campus. Second-year onward branch wise hostels are divided, which results in a peaceful environment. The mess food menu is decided by students itself, so we get a good 4 years to experience.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, we all have a get-together, where we all old friend come back here to cherish our old memories.
Exam Structure :
Exam structure is strictly maintained as per the BPUT structure. Examinations are conducted in a disciplined manner so that any kind of malpractice should not spoil the academic record. Internals, lab test, viva in each lab and quiz test are maintained in proper law and order.
Admission :
Before my results were out, my parents visited a few good private engineering colleges, and GITA was one of them. The college has a good infrastructure with an eye-catching library. Then I decided to visit laboratories and was quite impressed by it. Then and there I decided to join it and was just waiting for the result to be out.
Faculty :
The faculties are the real backbones who are responsible for a strong academic record that the college possess till now. They are very friendly and highly qualified, who really worked very hard for the improvement of the students. Not only during college hours but during evening also they arrange a doubt clearing class for hostilities.
