Remarks :
The overall infrastructure is great. The College sports a Cricket ground accompanied with a stadium. It also promotes the students to engage in more activities and sports events. The faculty could be improved. Staffs can be replaced. More sophisticated staffs could improvise the overall faculty level downsides.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It’s well maintained. Exam structure is genuinely maintained too. It’s safe, well-guarded, Squad officers roam around the Examination Halls during the Exam hours. Invigilators are pretty strict and the paper correction committee is not adulterated.
Placement Experience :
Yes they do provide Campus Interviews and Internship opportunities. I attended two different interviews. The overall experience is good. Internship stipend would be around ? 2000-4000 per month and Job opportunity stipends starts from ?12000.
College Events :
Rangoli Competition Holi Celebrations Treasure Hunts Intra College and Inter Collegiate Cultural events Quiz events Debates Speech Competitions Essay Writing Dancing, Singing, Acting Rampwalk and Modeling Events
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It’s not that expensive. For an average B. Com fresher, the fees would cost around ?13000-50000 depending upon the Shift chosen and Degree Branches. Shift 1 is cheaper and feasible compared to Shift 2.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
They offer good service for scholarships and loan facilities. Some students receive Cash Scholarships upto ?8000 depending upon their marks and percentages. Loan facilities are provided but I’m not sure about the package details.
Campus Life :
Extracurricular activities are great. The college also promotes students to engage in more Sports and Extracurricular Activities such as Basketball, Volleyball, NCC, NSS, Social Clubs, Theatre Clubs, Literature Clubs etc. There’s a Cricket Ground accompanied with a stadium in the college campus.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni’s are quite helpful. They’d try they best to help the junior students in most of their needs. They also pass their used Books to their Juniors. Other things such as Cricket Matches, Bus/Train Pass are undertaken by some Alumni students.
Admission :
I filled out the Application from the Guru Nanak college website. All the necessary information should be clearly mentioned. A fee of ?250 should be paid via online to commence the Application Process. Then I had to attend an interview and a small talk with the Principal.
