Come to JKLU and see for yourself -its vibrant campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview :

We have a multi-disciplinary curriculum which includes the new age themes: AI, Design Thinking, Automation, Data Sciences which taught nowhere else. The course structure is highly dynamic and precise depending on the market requirements of the present times which is completely driven by technology. We also learn how to use self-assessment tools and technologies which are there to help us understand, manage and lead ourself effectively. Thus, it devoid the need of a prof who has always keep tracking our progress and making sure whatever we are doing matches up to the expectations of everyone. This makes us feel very empowered and at the same time responsible enough to stir our ship towards right direction.

Placement Experience :

When you sit for placements you realize that you are in a much better position in comparison to other colleges around you. There are more than 120 participating organization in the recruitment drive which starts in October. The students are restricted from looking for jobs own their own. They are also free to opt out of the placement process, though the career service center encourages each and every student to participate in the placements. My schooling has majorly been in Hindi medium, so I was afraid that I would not get a good job. But surprisingly, I have a job which pays me more than some my other English medium friends studying in other colleges. This would not have been if not for the help and encouragement from the faculty and the center for communications and critical thinking

College Events :

there are lot of events which are celebrated in the university campus. we have number of startup masterclasses by the professionals who help us understand how to set up your own startup from the scratch. We also have lectures by the profs from the top foreign universities of the world.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I paid around 3 lakh for the course. during the course, I needed some financial assistance so the university provided me with a part-time job on campus which was very helpful and i did not have to ask my parents for money. This also made feel very empowering

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The university tries its best to help students who need financial help and this is done by providing need and merit-based scholarships.

Campus Life :

There are number of us who are interested in music and have been part of college bands. For this purpose, there is a designated music room for us where we practice/jam every evening. The music room has soundproof windows and doors and all the instruments that are required to form a band. The instruments I must say are all of very high quality and durability. I can claim that university definitely has a good infrastructure and it provides all the facilities to its students be it for extracurricular activities or for academics.

Hostel Facilities :

There are times when I fall sick in the hostel out of sheer carelessness and for such incidents, we have Medical Centre on campus. The medical Centre is well equipped with all the basic medical requirements. There is a nurse available round the clock for any urgency at night. We also have a doctor visiting the campus every day in the evening if incase we want to get checked up by a qualified doctor. The medical staff also provides us with the basic medicines so that we do not have to go outside the university to buy medicines. Oh yes! For the safely and sending the students to the hospital and other medical purposes, there is ambulance with the driver on campus 24*7

Alumni/Alumna :

if not for alumni network i would have been able to find a decent job for myself espicially when the job market is down.

Admission :

there is an entrance exam which everyone has to give and there is no skipping it. After the entrance exam, one has to give the first round of the interview if they get selected in the written. after the first round of interview, we have second round of interview with faculty.

Faculty :

We are being taught by some of the very well-known faculty across India- Jishnu Changkoti, Apoorv Bamba and Ankur Kulshrestha to name a few. They help us understand the basic concepts of management, marketing, strategy, operations, innovation, organizational behavior, accounting finance, business planning, business ethics, digital marketing, problem solving, decision making, supply chain and logistics, network business, sales, collaboration and entrepreneurship and what not. All this is supplemented with the guidance from the industry leaders such as Raghava Rao, Sanjay Sarivastava, Ravi Chandranto to name a few. This completes the exotic combination of academic knowledge and the best possible practical guidance. All this is made possible by the amazing profs at JKLU who are not to found in most the universities of India.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is my own choice it make us learn about the world of fashion designing the course revolve around thhis subject about stitching, embroidery, designing , styling and so on.. It makes us prepare for the outer world in fashion designing. I guess the teaching method here is normal and it should be improved in aspects of ways and methods. They should teach beyond the course and to face real life challenges

Course Curriculum Overview:

They teach every course in a proper planned manner. We are more inclined towards practical work rather than theory or class work to understand the reall world applications. We do have a display and evaluation at the end of every course and then we have juries at the end of each sem which allows us to correct our mistakes that we have done during evaluation and the course and to get better on that particular area

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum prepares us for our real world applications of what we have pursued as there are regular feedbacks and continuous guidance from the faculty. By the end of the semester, the students are evaluated by a jury who review all the work the students have done throughout the semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am quite interested in creativity and enjoy work related to space design so I chose this programme. I think this is my best decision as Banasthali has a very comprehensive programme for design as the theory, practical work, projects, field trips and workshops are very much balanced to provide as much experience in this field before we even start internships. Most of the practical projects are based on real field experiences. I think to better improve the course the faculties could organise seminars or workshops with successful individuals of the fields more so that they can guide us for our career choices. Exams are very evenly distributed in semesters. 2 FA and 1 final exams in a semester. Theory exams are quite easy if you have paid attention in the classes but practical exams difficulty is a little bit high due the course requirements & as the practicals are with external faculty. But if you are serious about your studies they are also very easy to pass and score high

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I always had passion in designing. I like to make simple spaces asthetically beautiful. The curriculum doesn't prepare us very well for the real world as we have very few outside world interaction during our semester. The management should increase the number of workshops and exhibitions for the designs students as we will get to know more about designing. Teacher should teach us more theoretically as well as practically as we have less teaching during the semester teachers mostly give topics and let us learn on our own.In-term Exams are held almost after every 2 or 1.5 month according to the semester. Sometimes the course is not completed but the exams are held that creates issues. But we have well prepared till the end term examinations.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the last (eighth) semester. The placement is done on centralised basis. Companies like myntra, Aditya birla group and some more come to the placements. Last year the average package was around 600000 per year. My plan after the degree is to get some experience from jobs and then start something of my own.
