Course Curriculum Overview :

Course is almost same as all other engineering colleges in India. Thermal engineering, Fluid mechanics and machines, Solid mechanics.Theory of machines and mechanisms Exam structure: Mid sem test Internal and external practical examination and then main written exam

Placement Experience :

College doesn't provide internship though placements on computer science and engineering department are quite good Some multi national companies are collaboration with JIT BORAWAN such as HCL, Microsoft and some localised organization.

College Events :

Every year annual function held at my college. Every year the name was changed accordingly. Tech fest , Rangoli competition, painting competition, robo race, code decode, one minute game show, dancing, singing competition etc

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible fee structure, There are around 10000 rs bus fees 45000 rs about to pay for tution fees at that time, around 7 to 8000 rs for mess fess per month. And whenever exam has to come some of 700 rs around has to pay for exam form to the university.

Fees and Financial Aid :

There is a facility for schedule tribe, schedule cast and other backward classes students to avail scholarship from government of madhya pradesh. Other than that there is no provision for scholarship. Loan facility is given by only Banks

Campus Life :

About extra curricular activities there are some of the technical events such as paper presentation and design competition Apart from competition there are some spiritual activities are also organised.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rates are 10000 rupees per year, My college has three hostels namely vindhychal boys hostel, satpura boys hostel and narmada girls hostel. Infrastructure is very good and impressive in all manner.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes they are helpful. Almost all succesfull seniors come to get together and shared their experience. Juniors and students take benefits from them and take more advantage as they can to placed them to take more and more advantage

Admission :

After higher secondary school examination 2009 in Mathematics 1. Pre engineering test results 2.admission Counciling at SGSITS INDORE 3. Documentation 4. Fees submission 5. Classes started from July 2009

Faculty :

Faculty was mostly graduated from the same college.Some of them are mostly post graduated and rarely are doctorates. Some of them belongs to industrial works.There are one Head of department followed by 6-7 other teachers

Placement is deteriorating . It's like for engineering I know , we have spend so much fee on this course but what the average package is five lakh per annum. Thats so less comparatively . They should improve their placement section

Found good people in the colleg / rest was a disaster of a life experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely irreleveant to the industry and course curriculum is really bad Curriculum does not prepare me for real world applications, whatever i have learnt, i have learnt from myself and from courses. Course curriculum can be improved by including latest tech and not by teaching students about 50 yr old syllabus. Instead of exams there should be assignments and project submissions which really makes the student ready for real world and real life opportunities. There are two mid sems in each semester alogn with one final sem written exam and also internal and external viva in which all questions are repeatative.

Remarks:

the college have best convence facility the buses are always for the students, the muslim students can take every jumma NAMAZ by them, they will take you to the MASJID for NAMAZ. there is no negative remark in my view.
