Remarks :

Positive: Bus facility provided in this college is free of cost. Well secured for boys and girls because they do not allow outside the campus during interval or during lunch times. Negative: Infrastructure is bad

Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses offered here was awesome. The technologies & lab equipments used here was poor. The exam was done in a big Hall. There will be two faculties to watch us. If any malpractice is handled they Will be punished severely.

Placement Experience :

Yes there is placement in my college. Mostly software companies visited my college for placement. Also they providing internships at our third year and fourth year studies. That's much helpful to us.

College Events :

Inaugural: Many chief guests were came that day For example a Manager from Mahindra company. He explained us how the placement will be done in their company and explained us about the job opportunities.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is just ok . Because the infrastructure and the facilities was not good. Also the lab equipments were not satisfied to my college fees. So the fees is very expensive comparing other colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

They provided scholarships for us but the method of scholarship is not explained well to us . They must explain us about scholarship before one month. But that only we can get our wanted papers getting ready

Campus Life :

There is no functions done in this college. Also we must need any participation certificate to join sports. Lab equipment are maintained well but the equipments are very low in count. So these all are only good.

Alumni/Alumna :

No there is no interaction done between us and the seniors. Upto now a semester is completed but we do not know their name itself. It must be improved by that only the Juniors will be motivated by seniors.

Admission :

By counselling process I was admitted in this college. And also by asking some reviews about the college. And the placement companies were awesome here . My seniors recommend me to this college. .

Faculty :

They are much helpful to my studies. Also they will help us inany projects. They help us to maintain discipline in all aspects. They help us in going to other colleges for participating in paper presentations.

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
