Course Curriculum Overview :

Good . The exams are Conducted thrise a semester . Two series ( internal) and the semester exam. .

Placement Experience :

Comparitively good placements for all departments . Yes internships are provided by the college . The experience was good . The internship lasted for a period of 30 days . We all did well. Certificates are given to participants.

College Events :

Union day . Conducted in every odd semester. Chief guests are often celebrities. Arts day. Various skills of students are identified. They are encouraged College day . Sports day . Teachers day . Internship .

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Expensive as compared to government colleges students in merit seats . They are asking extra fees as special fees . Fees for reservations are almost zero . Rich people often has to pay none of the fees .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship are for different catagoires . But only one scholarship is applicable for one student.

Hostel Facilities :

There is no college hostel

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes they are very helpful

Admission :

By Entrance exam (keam) . Then I got good rank and came in merit list.Then went to the college . Several procedures was there . Finished all of it . Submitted the records of certificates . Remitted the fees.

Faculty :

Very good . They always tries to keep everything in control . Helps the students as they are incharged to do so . Their maintenance of college . They try to be punctual always . But hardly fails .

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
