Course Curriculum Overview :
B.Sc. in Food Sciences is a 3-year undergraduate course divided into six semesters. The course involves a specialized study of all aspects of food, starting with harvesting or slaughtering, gathering or butchering, and consumption by means of cooking. Exam was conducted by MG University in all semester.
Placement Experience :
Graduates in BSc food technology can find jobs in various government organizations, laboratories etc. Many firms working under the Food Corporation of India recruit graduates in this field. Graduates in this field can also try for jobs in laboratories where the quality of food products are tested.

Fee Structure And Facilities :
feasible for aided course and expensive for un-aided course.Very much feasible. Fee structure depends on the course. In my case it was semester and as the course was 3 years i paid six.19500/- semester fee on Bsc courses

Campus Life :
The Induction Program is designed to make the newly joined students feel comfortable, sensitize them towards exploring their academic interests and activities, reducing competition and making them work for excellence, promote bonding within them, build relations between teachers and students
Hostel Facilities :
It has adequate high security and good discipline. Each room has an attached bathroom. The students who are not staying with the parents shall reside in the college hostel as per college rules. The canteen of the college provides food in the hostel also.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumni network and senior students are helpful for studying students in academy level and social level. They help to known the complete details about our colleges. They give motivation to other students to relax from stress level.
Admission :
After 12 graduation in bio-maths, I have applied on MG University allotment in UG for Bsc Food Science on St George college Aruvithura. And I have got the admission in this college by allotment of merit list.
Faculty :
The members of the academic staff comprising of teachers, lecturers or professors in this educational instituition are highly experienced, hardworking and responsible in their work in St George college Aruvithura
