Remarks :
The college is having good infrastructure and the place is green. But the management is not that good. The policies and regulations are bit much. And they may use physical force to implement these regulations.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is decided by the university. The college is under Kerala technological university and they follow all india syllabus. In my opinion the curriculum and syllabus is out dated and time wastage. Most of the information that we study are outdated and simply studying to finish the course. For example in computer science engineering through out the four year course we only 1or 2 programming languages and all other is full theory. The written exam is conducted at the end of each semester. There are 2 semester in each year so two exam in each year, in addition to the written the students activity is also taken in account for creating final score.
Placement Experience :
Since last few years the placements are not so good. Most of the companies the came not an technical company. Some companies were in the educational field. They need fresher's to take class at higher secondary school on behave of the company. No, college does not provide internships.
College Events :
The events Celebrated are sports, arts, and college day. In sports the athletic round is conducted by competing against the 4 houses or team. Other games are done by competing against the class. The arts day is 2-3 day program. Mostly celebrities inaugurate the function. The college day is conducted by the different department. The seniors or 4 year students conduct the program. It is also considered as farewell to the seniors.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure was expensive for me. But for last few years the fee has been cut in to half making it very cheap. This is done to attract students more. But still we had to pay the same fee that was at the beginning.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college offer all scholarship that is offered or approved by the government. In addition to that the college host a technical fest for school student outside the college. The school students can participate in the fest and who ever win they will get a scholarship.
Campus Life :
The extracurricular activities are not bad. The Labs are good with decent quality equipment. The sports is little dull. The games ate fun. The NSS activities are good at the college. The members works at oldage homes and other facilities. The NCC in our college is a famous.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumni network is poor. Most of the seniors don't even turn up for the alumni meet. And most of them have a good communication. They are not helpful. But some still have contact and they visit the college tome to time.
Admission :
After writing the entrance exam, i approached the college for admission. A meeting was arranged and they discussed the fee structure and other regulations. After giving an advance the seat was booked. And later i joined the college.
Faculty :
The faculty members are good but most of them lack experience. The most faculties are former student of the college. They joined the college after completing the post graduation or Mtech at our college.
