- I liked the environment, Surrounded with full of trees and plants. Feel and breath the fresh air. This college surrounded in greenery for every view you can see a plant or a tree. I liked the environment of this college.
- I studied in Bsc.Computer Science. And, the lab facilities were amazin, Latest Systems and A/C Room. One of the best college in Kanniyakumari for a amazing lab facility. Department provides you can practice coding in your free time.
Dislikes
- Things i disliked were many things, In every morning there will be an officer for checking beard and hairstyle. If beard were little long and the hairstyle is to be not good. The management put a amount nearly 150.Rs.
- One the biggest things i disliked, This is College is Co-education college which means there will be boys and girls in a class room, But the department or management didn't allow you to speak with girls.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I influenced by the Lab facilities of this college. This is the best college for Lab facilities. Latest Computers, Latest Syllabus and everything were up to dated. So why i Choose this college. They wanted to be more virtual. They teaching like an old method using black board and chalk piece .The teaching wants to be improved. The teaching wants to more virtual. There will be 3 Internals. If the 2 internals were conducted, The 3rd internal conduct in a gap of 1 week after conducted the 2nd. The classroom wants to be improvved. Wanted to be A/C Room but not likely it has 3 fans. And, the classroom wants to improved.
Internships Opportunities :
The internships only available for PG students. And the companies were to good. The internship where in the technopark Trivandrum. Which is known by many companies. The internship rolls were the junior developer at junior assistant. The projects which they created for a hospital management application.
Placement Experience :
From the 6th semester which is the last semester you will be eligible for campus placements. They will be a small startup companies interview us. If they satisfied they will select us to their companies for a 6 months or a year. The name can't be remembered because of the companies where the startup companies. Not a more knowing companies. The average package be 5,000 to 10,000 Rs. You don't expected more for in a startup company. 2% of students (i.e 80 of 4000) getting placement for a period. My plans is to finish this degree and study the course related to my degree and apply jobs to related to my course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
A year has 2 Semesters, Nearly Rs.20,000 for each semester. Including the Semester Fees, Exam fees and Book fees. Semester fees includes the Lab fees, Caution fees, Tuition fees and Development fees. This college has Special quota and priority for CSI Christians students. And, There is an financial aid called Tamil Pudhalvan and Pudhalvi. Both boys and girls, The tamilnadu government will donate Rs.1000 for every student those who have studied 6th standard to 12th standard in Tamilnadu Government school. If the student can't afford food or food expense, The college will provide a free food in the afternoon. Environment were 100% Surrounded with the trees and plants. This college for the student those want studies only, Don't go there with an expectation of enjoyment. There is no culturals, no festivals, And There is no other entertainment. This college provides more safety for the female students. In afternoon every girls should go to a shed for girl students only. There you can eat and spend time.
Campus Life :
There will be no annual and technical festivals conducted in this college. There will be no fest in this college. This college is not for enjoying the college life. The accessibility of books and the journals are good in the library sections. The library has more than 1000 books and daily newspapers. There is no facilities and technology provisions in the classroom. The classroom structured in the old model of the high school. An overview of sports, The college more likely to encourage the students for participate in the sports. This college is good for sports too. There is no student-run social groups,clubs or student portals.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facilities only for girl students those Who from other state or other country. The room facility where not good as much. The provided me will be the worst meal which I ever had. The registration process were so simple and the affordability is too good because the hostel were located inside the college campus.
Admission :
I choose this college because it is near to my home. And after the admission, I feel it is one of the best college for studying at for enjoying. I have more interest to go to Noorul Islam College of arts and Science. But unlikely, it is far away from my home. So I only wanted to choose this college. The admission process for more easy. First you want to apply and then an interview will be conducted, after that the interview the joining date will be provided. This are steps for admission in this college. They will be no eligibility exams they only see your cut off mark in your High school.
Faculty :
Faculties were not good. There is some men professors, they were only talk to the Girls. About Exams, For each semester you attend 3 Internal exams. You want attend atleast 2 internals. Best of 2 internals of 3 Internals were selected. Divided by 2 and that mark will be added as your internal mark. And, Submitting the notes, Submitting assignments are added to your internal marks. The semester exam will be conducted in the end of an each semester. There you should attain 30 marks to pass(Only you have 10 internal Marks), Otherwise you should attain 40 marks.
