Remarks :

It's a training institute and must take placement and job prospects most importantly.The college has no interest in the career training or internships. There is a program to give exactly 3 people internship in one particular organization every year. Due to recent switch of campus, on-campus placement has gone to zero. Students took it to their own interests in development of their career to get trained for industry and obtain a job.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is mostly out of date or doesn't provide enough hands on knowledge of the domain. Practical examinations are repeating the same problem over and over again without any interest in improvement or inspection. Assignments are just homework barely giving any insight into the topic.

Placement Experience :

The college has no interest in the career training or internships. There is a program to give exactly 3 people internship in one particular organization every year. Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee is somewhat flexible. Not much or less for a engineering college. It's about 30,000 INR per semester including tuition fee and examination fees. There's also one time caution money of 8,000 INR to submit.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There's a freeship sceme under Government of West Bengal that completely revokes tuition fee for Economical yet Promising Students.There's also some scholarships available for Masters course given either student has National Merit Rank or provides assistance in lab.

Alumni/Alumna :

The only part of the college that kept it available is the alumni network. With great experience and helpful seniors always try to motivate and guide to individual and group career development.

Admission :

By ranking in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering, online counseling for College and Department selection and reporting to college with fee submission and further admission process.It's a 2 day process there!

Faculty :

Mostly incompetent. Either doesn't have deep knowledge on the subject or does not have skills required to coach. They really doesn't seem to have interest in the betterment of the students or overall learning environment.

The placement of this college is quite good. 89% of students got placed in good companies like TCS, Accenture, Amazon, etc. in 2023. Moreover, this college also conducts special classes for placements where you will learn how to prepare for interviews and crack the interviews.

Final-year students can opt for the placement drive. The highest package was 3 LPA. The average package was 1.2-1.5 LPA. (5-10)% Students got placement. I planned for preparation various govt jobs.

Hardship ends someday after Placements.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester onwards.A total of 98 companies visited our college out of which they offered 120 offers and 86 students applied for placements out of which 78 are selected in the CSE branch. The selection was 90 percent. Average pay was 4-5LPA and the highest was 25LPA CTC in India. After getting my degree i planned for higher studies and placement in a MNC.

Remarks:

Nothing is perfect in the whole universe. There were loopholes in the college administration and there were a few, not-so-good guys, who did mistreat with students but thanks to the higher authorities, those were never a permanent issue.
