Remarks :

Overall the college and infrastructure is good. The syllabus is easy to study for an average student. The college has a good atmosphere to study. The only problem i find is that the college is situated in an industrial area.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is simple though it is a diploma course.The duration of the course is 3 years which has 6 semesters.The semester exam comes in 6 months. The exams are purely based on your syllabus.

Placement Experience :

The plastic industries are growing day by day in the world. Don't think that plastic is something that will be banned.Only the use and throw plastic can be banned which doesn't affect us. So the job opportunities are wide. The college provides placement for all the students. The last 6 months of the course is Internship which has stipend around rs10,000-20,000.

College Events :

The events celebrated in the college are Mainly Onam and Christmas just like other colleges in Kerala. Other festivals like divali ,dusserah etc are not celebrated majorly but we will get holiday on those days.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The semester fee iss rs.18,000 per sem. One Should pay rs 5,000 extra when joining which is the exam fee,uniform fee etc. The total fee will be Rs1,13,250.This does not include hostel fee,trasportation or any other expense.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

You can apply for educational loans in any banks.The college will provide you the needed requirements. The students can apply for E-GRANDZ scholarship if their annual income is less than 1 lakh. This will cover all of your fees.

Campus Life :

The college conducts a sports week every year. The interested students can participate. The college has a good chemistry lab , engineering lab and a good computer lab. And we may have some activities based on Swatch Bharath provided by central government. You wil also get a campus tour. Nothing More.

Hostel Facilities :

The Hostel facility is available for the students if they need it. Te hostel fee is Rs10,000 per semester excluding mess fee.It will be 3-5 students in a room. Bathroom is common for all students which is not attached.There 4 Bathrooms each in both floors. The staffs always keep the bathrooms clean.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Don't know any alumni members personally.The official website of Cipet provides some information about alumni.You can check that. The senior students are friendly and helpful. You can reach them if you have any doubt or need any help.

Admission :

For getting admission in this college one should participate in an All India JEE Exam and will be selected if you are qualified in it.Apply for the exam in the website www.eadmission.cipet.gov.in. After attending the exam i got notified that I'm qualified to join the college.

Faculty :

Most of the faculty members are from outside kerala and does not speak malayalam because its a central government institution. Most of the Teachers takes class in English which is a good thing especially for students from outside kerala. The teaching is good and all the staffs friendly towards the students and still maintains discipline in college.

Placement Experience:

Mostly from the 6th semester onwards, students become eligible for campus placements. Wipro, intech, etc are the top companies that came for placements. I don't have permission to discuss the packages by the company offered. Whoever applies for the placement will be placed. My plan after getting the degree is for higher studies.

It is Very Nice

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for interview after the 5th Semester 3rd year, There is 100+ company visited and made nearly 700+ offers. Titan and Musashi and Sigma and Sanmark and Hyundai and Caterpillar and Tata and Delta Electronics, etc. There is 90% of students are placed till now other are going to place soon and others are higher studies. My plan after getting a Degree is Job and Partime of Study.
