Remarks :

Postive remarks is that established by Ministry of Petroleum and Natural gas, it is a central government funded college but the main negative impact is its remote area and publicity. No one knows that Rajiv Gandhi institute of Petroleum Technology takes IIT JEE advance qualified students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Cource curriculum is good. In Bachelor of Technology course we have 8 semesters. In each semester there are two examinations. Exams are also open book. Questions which are asked in exams are mainly industrial based and also there are GATE based.

Placement Experience :

Yes, our college provide internship in the 3rd year.our college funded by Ministry of Petroleum and natural gas, thus it provides internship in oil and gas industry. ONGC, OIL, IOCL, BPCL these ate PSUs which come for recruitment. Also their are many private companies like wiprp, reliance, torrent power, adani gas ltd for recruitment.

College Events :

Our college calender has 3 events/fests. Cultural, sports and technical. Cultural fest-kaltrang lasts for 3 days in which there is drama poetry, dance, singing, debate, extempore and many cultural events. Sports fest- energia also lats for 3 days in which other colleges come to our college to compete in many games like football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, lawn tennis,chess and many more. Last one is techfest-urjotsav also lasts for 3 days. As it is tech fest there are workshops on data science, machine learning, deep learning and many more. Students present their projects in the tech fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

As the college is governed by the central government of india, fee structure is divided into two categories: general/OBC and SC/ST. For general/OBC category students fees is 2.5 lakhs per annum. For SC/ST category students fees is 50000 per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our college give scholarship to those students who have GPA more than 8.5 scholarship amount is about 24000rs. But there are numerous scholarship for SC/ST students. For SC/ST students there GPA requires is 6.5.

Campus Life :

There are many clubs in the college. Science and technical club, sports club, cultural club, social club. All the clubs get funded from the college. Thus they organize many events in the college. Also there ia team for each club who organize these events.

Hostel Facilities :

It is compulsory for all students to take hostel. Hostel has very good infrastructures even better than many IITs anfmd NITs. Every floor hs 20 rooms for which there are 4 washroom and 4 bathroom. One water cooler is established on every floor. There are 6 floors in the hostel. Hostel also have lift facility.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, seniors are helpful. They help us in knowing how a particular fest/event is organised, how to build resume, how to apply for non core internships and what should be the attitude while going for an interview.

Admission :

To get admission in rajiv Gandhi institute of Petroleum Technology one has to qualify IIT JEE advance and should have a decent rank in the exam. Process: One had to sit in JEE Mains conducted by National Test Agency and have to qualify the exam. After JEE Mains, he/she has to qualify IIT JEE advance and should have rank less than 16000. He has to fill the form of Rajiv Gandhi institute of Petroleum Technology. Then you are now a student of Rajiv Gandhi institute of Petroleum Technology.

Faculty :

Faculty is good at Teaching but there always some faculties in every college which are not good i.e they lack helpful nature. All the faculties have done their phd from IIT kanpur. Also there are some faculties which have done their phd from foreign universities.

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is decent highest package was 30 lac per annum and average is 6-7 lac per annum....From 6th semester u are eligible for the campus placements.... companies that visited are- IBM, TCS,etc I just don't remember now there are many... percent of students getting placements are near about 80% i guess

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good in my college. From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc do visit my college. Remarks:

The best part of this college is that it has an incubation centre which is governed by the DST government of India to promote new innovative ideas and mould the incubator to start there startup and became an entrepreneur.
