Remarks :
Personally I do love the college and its faculties and its facilities. And I recommend each single person of my life to study in this world-class instutute. This is the only institute that has its potency to hold its excellence not only for years, but for centuries.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The respective courses are full-fledged enough to learn in a scholastic way about the topics. There are certain other other curriculam activities along with the main course that helps the students to enhance their personality. The whole exam pattern is semester based. There are End Semester Examinations on the break of each semester and with the span of every semester, there are two Internal Assessments to evaluate the learning process of the students.
Placement Experience :
The college is a government-aided institute and it has its fame around the state of West Bengal. The placement and job opportunities are quite good here. After the completion of my course, the college offered some opportunities, but I did not take one as I wanted to pursue higher degrees. The other students had been selected for their job e.g. in Reshmi Metalics in Kharagpur, Hitachi in Kharagpur etc. Most of the students of the college want to continue higher studies. There is placement assistance cell in the college.
College Events :
There are such many entertaining and interesting events are taken place in the college. Each year the college authority organize a social fest called Ananndam during spring. Numbers of National conferences, Seminars, Round-table Meetings, Scholar Summits are organized by the authority as well as students. For example, in recent days the Youth Parliament Congress has been organized in our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees structure of the institute is quite admissible and plausible. The fees for my whole B.A. course of 3 years was about 10,000 rupees only. Even the courses have also acceptable fees structure. And the fees have to pay in each semester in installments.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are number of scholarships those are offered to students. Most of the students of the college receive either govt or some non-govt scholarships. I myself had received a govt. scholarship of 18000 rupees each year.
Campus Life :
The other facilities of the institute is very much student-friendly. Each year, there are organized the the Sports summit and cultural competition. There are labs and research points in every department. The library facility is unbelievable as it has a library with 100k books in the central library. There are also NSS and NCC unit.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not been selected for the accomodation of hostel because of the distance from my home is very not so far, but the hostel facility is very pleasable and student-friendly. The hostel campus is so greeny and quiet. The food and accomodation facility is a-one quality.
Alumni/Alumna :
There is an union of alumnis and senior students in the college. They are constantly trying to upgrade the quality of Education and research facilities. Each year they take initiative to interact with students in a large scale.
Admission :
When I took admission in yhe institute, it was 5 years ago in 2014. On that time, there was merit list got published. The admission procedures is mainly conducted through online system where one get to choose different courses on their certain perspectives.
Faculty :
The faculties of the college are very resourseful persons and also scholars in their respective fields. They always try their best to teach their students in details, unfathomably. The unique element of this instutute is the earth-moon relationship between the teachers and students.
