Remarks :

One of the best engineering college with best faculties. They dont run the college as a business thing or a money making thing, they work with a motto of craeting new and highly qualified engineers. The fine imposed by this college is some waht very big problem for student

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is strictly following the curriclum put forwarded by APJ Abdul kalam technological university, and the exams are done as per university guidelines by conducting series test and regular semester exams. They also give us assignments and evaluate it

Placement Experience :

Mohandas college provides a great platform for placements. They even train the qualified students for placement process by one week resident program. This college does not provide internship, but they help us to reach outside for that

College Events :

Arts day and freshersday are the first event in a academic year from thats moment the ice between the seniour and juniors will get broken. Illuminati is the other grand event which is an intercollege cultural festival, which is a main attraction. Colloqium is a national level tech fest organised by college which is a great one. College day at the end semester helps students to exhibit all their talents

Fee Structure And Facilities :

If yo are a merit student then the fees is feasible and if you are in management seat then the fees is somewhat high and its all matches with the level of college and the fees for nri students will be much higher compared to all others

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College offers scholorships to the students those who secure more than 9 cgpa in sem exams. But thats only a small amount. If we wish to tale loan then we have to contact any nationalised bank, the college will help us by giving us all the papers we needed

Campus Life :

Organisations like iedc, ieee, nss are very strong and active in the college. The labs facilities here are great And have highly experienced faculties separately for lab. The college provides coaching for what ever sports item they wish to. Th college have very nice basket ball cort, volleyball cort, badminton cort, cricket ground football ground and all

Alumni/Alumna :

The college always maintains a strong bond with the alumni students using the alumni association, which is even helpful for the students atudying there. The alumnis comes to college and share their practical knowledge they acquired just after the studies. They will give a nice way for our career

Admission :

I wrote the kerala engineering entrance exam and got rank around 18k and got alloted in mohandas college for the first time itself. At that time i came to know the director of this college is the keralas first women architect and saw the infrastructures their. And i confirmed my seats there

Faculty :

The faculties provided by each department in this college is highly qualified and young sharp teachers who had took their mtech from great universities such as iits and nits. They are very helping as well as come to the level of students to teach them perfectly

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
