Entrance Preview :

I will tell u one truth, even though 40,000 odd students apply for GATE, hardly 5000 students prepare seriously so u have to compete with these 5000 students all over India be brave and confident, your confidence is more important than anything else say your preparation also a student with good preparation but without confidence will spoil the paper may be a student who went to exam with little preparation cool mind and confidence can crack the GATE in so, how much u have prepared, how many books u have studied, how many problems u have studied does not matter, because no questions will be direct and repeated, the questions will test your basics and your level of understanding of the subject, how well u can apply the theory .

Course Curriculum Overview :

Due to autonomous nature updated books are used as textbooks so it gives us to know about the updates of all good guidance from staffs well infrastructures co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are concentrated and given importance a lot due to computer science engineering.

Placement Experience :

Most of the best companies in the world visit the campus the package is really good for computer science and information technology students, where as the students of other departments receive good profile with salary package around market average so placement is no issue in KSR COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING a the placement is very very good for computer science engineering last year may students is placed.

College Events :

Studying in KSR is a dream come true for any student it meets the expectation if its students after one gets into it is not just about learning but experimenting one has the freedom to explore his interests be it in any field the college is well known for its library and canteen the food in the canteen is given at a affordable rate one cannot question about placement when one is studying in KSR as it is one of the top colleges in India if one is talented they can get placed in core companies or else IT jobs would be the ultimate choice.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees structure is very good no extra fee is geted from student compared to many college there r getting fee from student like book as manyThe infrastructure of the college is nothing much to look at but don't get fooled by that.it is the first college to be filled up in tamil nadu followed by anna uiversity for mechanical engineers this is the place to be it is rated as the best college for mechanical engineering in south india there are management as well as government quota seats.placement wise it is great and has almost all the companies coming in for various branches.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Amalgamated fund Scholarships to the children of ex-servicemen national scholarship national foundation for teachers welfare scholarship national Talent search scholarship educational concessions to the children of freedom fighters they are providing more scollership.

Campus Life :

KSR College is the best place if you are planning to have a well disciplined and balanced college life it gives a very good academic coaching, which you cant find in other colleges and it has a very good track record of placements only problem is, the exposure to outside world is little bit less compared to Anna university.

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
