A very good College for learning all aspects of life. The best engineering college of government of Bihar. First choice of students of Bihar. The environment being provided by College is excellent for study.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Courses offered are based on and approved by All India Council of Technical Education AICTE. TEQIP wing of government is also closely monitor the education quality. Exams are being conducted by Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna and the examination is being conducted for all engineering colleges of Bihar altogether.
Placement Experience :
There is very little scope of placement and most of the companies are not coming to Bihar for placements. Also most of the students of BCE are preferring government jobs. Students of BCE can be seen in any esteemed organization. Students are getting job in top organization just after passing from college through entrance exam. Yes, college sends the students to various esteemed organization e.g. NTPC for internship or vocational training. Stipend are being offered as per the government norms.
College Events :
Annual day is being celebrated in college. Tech fest named Technoriti is being celebrated once in a year. Various students are participating in these events. One cultural program is also being organised by college. Alumni meet once in a year being organized during the tech fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee applicable is as per norms of government of Bihar. The fee is very nominal. Fee Structure is very less in comparison to other government institutions and negligible in comparison to private colleges.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarship is being provided as per goverment norms. Students can avail the education loan facility. As the college is the most prestigious college of Bihar government, most of the banks are offering education loans to students. Students can avail these benefits when required.
Campus Life :
Labs are not up to the mark, however students are managing with other facilities. Practical classes being conducted by college is very few due to unavailability of working condition of equipments in Lab. Annual sports activity is being organised. Indoor and outdoor stadium is available inside the campus. Campus is spreaded in more than 200 acres. So having ample space for sports.
Hostel Facilities :
There are four hostels in BCE Bhagalpur. Three out of four hostels are very old and not up to the mark. One new hostel was constructed recently and having good facilities. But all hostels are good and is stayable. Facilities being provided by college is very good.
Alumni/Alumna :
College is organising alumni meet once in a year. Also alumni meet is being organised by various chapters within country once in a year. Alumnus of the college are visiting and guiding the students. This is very much required and very helpful for students.
Admission :
Student have to appear in exam conducted by BCECE. After declaration of result students are in being called for counselling based on the merit list. Seats are being offered based in the merit list. BCECE conducts exam for all engineering colleges of Bihar and Bhagalpur College of Engineering is the first choice of students of bihar opting for engineering.
Faculty :
Number of faculties available are very less compared to the number of seats. However the facilities are very much qualified and having vast knowledge of the curriculum. They possess vast experience in education field. Numerous guest lecturers are being called to fill the gap.
