Remarks :
Overall the college is good but needs improvement in fields of sports and other extra curricular activities. They should promote things other than academics. The students must be allowed to sit in canteen at times other than the recess time.
Entrance Preview :
I took IPU CET (indraprastha university common entrance test) and opted for this college. Because I had heard much about its highly qualified teachers and good placement record.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is extremely relevant to what we need to study as an engineer plus there are subjects like human values and professional ethics. Which emphasise on being a good human first. The focus on research work can be seen by the fact that the college officials promote various internships and programs.
Internships Opportunities :
No internships aren't provided by the college itself. Students have to search for external internships.
Placement Experience :
Placements and job opportunities are pretty good. Companies like Tata Consultancy Service, Infosys, Wipro etc came to the campus and students were offered from 3.5 lacs to whopping 9 lacs. MST of the students got a package of around 4 to 4.5 lacs per annum.
College Events :
The college has a technical fest named ' AVENSIS' and a cultural fest named 'ENVA'. Both these are huge events with massive participation. The organisation of the event includes finding sponsors, thinking of various competitions and planning of how to execute them. We get participants from many other colleges including bharti college which is adjacent to out college.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is somewhat expensive. The fees is Rs. 92,062 per year which means Rs. 46,031 per semester. This is quite a lot as compared to some other colleges. The library and book bank services make the fees worth as these two facilities are the best facilities offered by the college. Other than these there are no other services offered by the college for which they charge so much.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are no loans provided by the college. Scholarship is provided by the university and not by the college.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumini network do not visit the college frequently but the senior students are very helpful and assist us in all the possible ways. They help us not only in academics but also in management of cultural and technical festivals.
Exam Structure :
We as students are extremely tired of giving exams and attending labs for practicals. The frequency of exams is to damn high. It seems that every month we have internals and in the last one and half months we have internals practicals external practicals
