Entrance Preview :

I was keen to do MBA from a good institution and I took the entrance examination of CAT. I joined a private coaching institute but somehow it was not providing me the stuff that was required. So I started preparing on my own and managed to crack MBA. Though I had other options but chose MBA as I wanted to start and build my career in Marketing, and MBA was the best of the available options back then.I attended a counselling session in Allahabad and later underwent a group discussion followed by personal Interview.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was extensive. The MBA curriculum that they offered was one of the best and the procedures were implemented practically so that when a student goes for the interview in a company he should be well versed with all the concepts.

Internships Opportunities :

There were 3 companies that came for placement. They were offering the stipend of Rs. 8k onwards based on the interview. The placement cell was very helpful and provided full support in order to place their students. The overall internship experience was good and satisfactory.

Placement Experience :

The strength of my batch was 55. Out of 55 guys some 35 were placed through campus, a bunch had their own family business so they joined their family business and the rest were placed locally. The companies TCS, IBM were invited and lot of students were placed there. They offered Rs. 8k onwards based on the interview.

College Events :

The college was very happening and we used to organize the cultural activities on every occasion. We used to invite the faculties and dean of all departments and sued to distribute the prizes to the winners and recognize the talent of youngsters.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

We used to pay the sum of rupees 27000 per year. The detailed fee structure that I remember is given below. There might be certain changes in due course of time and might not hold true currently. 12000 admission fee, 9000 mess, 5000 tuition fee, 1000 miscellaneous.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I did not avail any loan facility but there were some students who availed the student loan. The student loan is available easily with the leading banks like SBI, PNB and BOI.

Campus Life :

Its just awesome. The campus life was fun and we used to have a loads of extracurricular activities like singing competitions, Antyakshari, Managers Show, different sports and fashion shows.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel was good and the food was good. I would say it was not awesome but its understood because at a time some 200 guys used to sit ans eat so the quality food would suffer. Overall the hostel experience was good.

Alumni/Alumna :

There is a alumni network on the social media and the students (Alumni and current ) are the part of it. They share a good rapport and the students get benefited with the advice given by the seniors.

Exam Structure :

It was pretty much chilled out. Though at times it used to be hectic as it required the full day for one assignment but it used to be fun equally for those who loved it.

Faculty :

The faculties were fabulous. They were knowledgeable and were ready to help the students in all possible manner.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester of the course, students become eligible for final placements. ISAB is maintaining 100% final and summer internship placements since its inception and we are looking forward to maintaining the record. The placement cell is very active and supports students in their campus placement ventures.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course of agribusiness because like after BSc in agriculture you can go for MSc in agriculture or MBA in agribusiness. I don't want to prepare for Ph.D. in the government sector so there is a better scope of an MBA in the private sector rather than an MSc in agriculture. Another reason for doing MBA is placement. The placement ratio of MBA students is better than m.sc students and salaries are also good. Another reason is in the private sector and MBA degree holders will get better promotions than average MSc degree holders. On my campus, there are 46 students in MBA agribusiness and 7 to 80% of them will surely get a minimum package of 350000 and a maximum package of 8 lacs. The guest faculty of MBA agribusiness is quite good. There are some teachers who are not as good as others but there is a 100% guarantee of course completion. Semester exams are not quite easy or too difficult if you will focus a little bit on your studies you will easily get pass. Semester exams are delayed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The trimester exam was there and it is pretty difficult to pass and have very good projects to work on plus the faculty is very good for finance. I am fortunate to be here. All the faculty is doctorate who are teaching plus have a very wide range of practical experience and links at big companies. The faculty is approachable. The college is very regular in respect of course and exam schedule. The course provides in-depth knowledge and exposure to students to real-life problems.

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for internships in any semester but for jobs, they are eligible by their end year only. Companies like Wipro, Paytm, Byjus, HSBC bank, Amazon visits the campus in the management department and almost 65 percent of the students get internship easily based on their skills. And for jobs, the highest package in management was 12 lakhs per annum and the average is 4 to 5 lakhs per annum.
