Remarks :

Positive things of our college is that is the best college for textile technology department because it is established in1927. Negative things of our college is that is not good(campasing) for core department like electrical, mechanical department.

Course Curriculum Overview :

All well but lab is not properly well specially in Mechanical engineering Department. Course duration 4years devided total 8th semester including practical exam. In 4th year our college provided intership.

Placement Experience :

No on campasing occurred but 2or3 off campusing occurred. In 4 th year college provide intership. But I have no idea the experience of intership as I am studying on 2nd year. But our senior told us during intership time you enjoy when you working something.

College Events :

1.Fest 2.Mega Reunion, 3.swaraswati puja, 4.Viswakarma puja, Therefore as this college is under Government. So almost all the special days are celebrated. On this day our honarble Principle attend all the programme and give some valuable speech on the event.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Yes fees structure is flexible During Admission time college take 12050 not including Saraswati puja for one year then from 2nd year college take 4200 per semester. As the college is under Government so fees is flexible.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No scholarships offered by our college as it is government under. And no loan provided by our college. In Reunion our senior told us that they started a scholarship for poor and brilliant student. But no proper work is on scholarship till now.

Campus Life :

Labs are not good specially in Mechanical engineering Department. Every year annual sports was arranged by our senior. In first year our senior arranged a football match between our 4th first year department 1.EE 2.ME. 3.CSE. 4.TT

Hostel Facilities :

No I am living in PG. Mainly in our college hostel 1 st year is not allowed as per rule. So after living in PG I am comfortable. And we are doing everything freely as we want. But in hostel there is many restrictions.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Obviously our senior are very helpful. They provide just us extra books of our course and they give many information about the course and advise for future. At first we are all fear of our senior s.they take intro one by one but after sometime all are going well

Admission :

I took admission in this college through westbengal joint entrance examination which is under westbengal joint entrance examination board. I secured 12659 rank. I got the college on 3rd counseling.

Faculty :

All the sir are very good specially in Mechanical engineering Department. They are really very helpful. They sometime take extra class for better understanding and also complete the syllabus of semester exam. They guide us for everything.

Hardship ends someday after Placements.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester onwards.A total of 98 companies visited our college out of which they offered 120 offers and 86 students applied for placements out of which 78 are selected in the CSE branch. The selection was 90 percent. Average pay was 4-5LPA and the highest was 25LPA CTC in India. After getting my degree i planned for higher studies and placement in a MNC.

Remarks:

Nothing is perfect in the whole universe. There were loopholes in the college administration and there were a few, not-so-good guys, who did mistreat with students but thanks to the higher authorities, those were never a permanent issue.
