Remarks

Many NSS initiatives, Blood Donation camps, AIDS awareness campaigns, were organised within the campus. Some of these activities also included field visit. Though there were no fun activities or events in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

The department library accommodates 200 books along with various journals and magazines. This is very helpful to facilitate students’ innovative thoughts. A lot of practical information was missing. Even the industry exposure was limited.

Placement Experience

Placements were also good. The college has their own entrepreneur unit established with the sole purpose of inspiring and guiding start-ups in RCET. Many companies also visit regularly for the recruitment purpose, but the placement record vary from department to department.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Both the tuition fee and the hostel fee is quite affordable. They also provide a lot of facilities for the students

Campus Life

The Roever College is a very good college for pursuing engineering in any discipline. I did my graduation in Mechanical engineering from the Perambalur campus. I am from 2016 batch and have very fond memories of the college life.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. Both the hostels have separate library, reading room, gym and a shop to facilitate the students. The hostel is affordable and has many facilities. Plus you make many friends in the hostel, especially the seniors which will help you with the notes and other important guidance. But I have heard that the Girls hostel warden is very strict, so they (girls) might have a different opinion about this particular aspect.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Admission

The admission is on the basis of educational qualification. I got preferential admission under the reservation category. The management is quite supportive, as they gave me additional time to submit some of the documents.

Faculty

The guest faculty members were good. We learned a lot from them regarding the latest developments in the world of engineering. The regular faculty was also co-operative. The senior faculty members were all PhD holders and had a lot of knowledge.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement Experience:

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
