Simply worth it!!

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course structure was pretty flexible and dynamic. Syllabus was carefully curated by the industry experts in order to bestow maximum exposure to the students along with the academic knowledge. The institute organise many field visits for the students in many reputable companies and their operational plants. Some of these field visits are ITC Chennai, Doordarshan, Coca-Cola, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I paid around 1.3 lacs during my first year, while last year (second year) I paid around 1.5 lacs. The fee structure is pretty nominal. You can pay via any payment mode you like.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships are available for the meritorious students and students from financially weaker background.

Campus Life :

We had a Seminar Hall, a dedicated Convention hall, computer labs, gymnasium hall, sports ground, etc. So the infrastructure was overall good, especially the classrooms and the hostel rooms. Social life is also eccentric. Numerous cultural and social events takes place throughout the year.

Hostel Facilities :

Well furnished rooms are provided to the students for the accommodation. Students have to opt for the hostel facility and fill out an application form in order to be considered for the hostel allotment.

Admission :

Admissions are on the basis of merit list prepared by the college on the basis of the management level entrance test, TANCET or MAT. I applied through the MAT scores and got invited for the next rounds, which were GD and PI.

Faculty :

They paid a lot of emphasis on the practical learning and constantly pushed us to explore entrepreneurship instead of regular job. We learned a lot from them and the experience they shared with us.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is great in this college. Last year placement rate was 96.5% and the second last year it was around 94.7%. In my batch, the most noteworthy bundle of a student was 14 LPA and the least bundle was 6.5 LPA and the most noteworthy bundle is 9.5 LPA and the least was 5.6 LPA. The top companies that recruited us for placements are Microsoft, HCL, Citi Bank, Mahindra, Tata, Wipro, Google, etc. Currently, I am working with Flipkart as a full-time employee and got placed because of my 3-month internship with them.

The course curriculum for the MBA course is researched well. Also, the exam structure followed by the university is quite decent as well. My exam experience with them till now was easy to comprehend. The entire faculty of the MBA department is qualified and extremely professional in their domain. They have always made me understand every single point with utmost clarity. I respect all my professors of the department.

Remarks:

Overall the College is a good college. But there are too many levels of hierarchy. We never really know who is the main head of the institution because there are so many people like Principal, Chairman, Director, Coordinator etc. The university the college is affiliated under is not good. Anna University is keen on looting student's money.
