NIT Jalandhar is among the top engineering colleges in the country. It offers decent academics and has an excellent placement record.

NITJ has a good infrastructure. The departmental labs are well equipped with latest machinery and technology. The campus has high-speed LAN and wifi.
The 150 acres campus of NITJ has mega hostels, a student activity center, a central seminar hall, a lawn tennis court, a football ground, a basketball court, and indoor game facilities.
NIT Jalandhar placements 2022 concluded with an average CTC of INR 11.87 LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was INR 62 LPA.
The institute has an excellent alumni base. Mobiwik founder Upasana Taku is an alumnus of the institute.

Jalandhar is only a few hours away from tourist places like Amritsar, Dalhousie, Dharamshala, etc.

College plays little role in shaping your career. Even though you are talented, you must use it in the best way possible. There are many students who have got a good package and quite an impressive state rank and are studying in IITs in M. Tech, but also, there are students who have backlogs and end up spreading bad and wrong information about the college. I know a few things about NIT Jalandhar as I have few friends there.

I will list a few of the advantages of choosing NIT Jalandhar down below.

It ranks among the top 10 NITs.
Their CSE and ICE branch are considered among the best in India. Students from these branches got salary packages as high as 75 LPA, in the past.
The institute has a strong alumni base. Some of them are even recognized internationally. Mobiwik founder Upasana Taku, Mr. Boni from Moto India are alumni of NIT Jalandhar.
The research culture at the institute is quite developed. Laboratories of different branches are well equipped with all kinds of tools and machines.
The lush green campus is spread over 150 acres with hostels, gymnasium, student activity center, basketball court, lawn tennis court, indoor game facilities, etc. The hostels are equipped with high-speed LAN or WiFi other than boys hostel 1.

However, your college can influence only 30% of your life, the rest of the 70% is in your hands. At the end of the day, it's you who has the power to influence yourself. NIT Jalandhar is a decent institute. If you work hard, you can definitely secure a decent placement from NIT Jalandhar itself.
