What is life like in BITS Pilani?

In general, life at BITS Pilani is pleasant. The academic portion is quite typical. But you'll have to live with the results of your choice. BITS Pilani differs from most colleges in this way. It educates you to take responsibility.

•  Academics: BITS Pilani is known for its rigorous academic programs. The workload can be demanding, and students are expected to put in a lot of effort into their studies. However, the quality of education and the faculty are generally well-regarded.
• Campus: The Pilani campus is the oldest and has a traditional feel, while the Goa and Hyderabad campuses offer a more modern and vibrant environment. The institute has well-equipped dorms with a common area, TV, phone, internet connection, solar water heating systems, and other amenities. The BITS Pilani gym is open to both male and female students. A trainer is also present at the gym to assist students.
• Hostel Life: BITS Pilani is known for its hostel culture. Most students live in hostels on campus, and this forms a significant part of the college experience. Hostel life is an excellent opportunity for students to build friendships, network, and engage in various activities.
• Extracurricular Activities: In addition to academic rigor, BITS Pilani Social Life offers students lots of chances to engage with and associate with their classmates. The yearly student projects and several year-round programs organized at BITS Pilani are well-known. Among the significant occasions are BITSMUN, APOGEE, and BOSM.
• Placements: BITS Pilani has a good placement record, with many top companies visiting the campus for recruitment. However, getting placed in a preferred company can still be competitive, and students are encouraged to prepare well. BITS Pilani Placements 2023 has been concluded. BITS Pilani average package stood at INR 30.37 LPA whereas the highest package stood at INR 60.75 LPA.

Each campus of BITS has something different to offer. Here's what life at BITS Pilani is like:-

• Academics: BITS Pilani has a hectic schedule during the first two years. My friend was only 17 when he cracked BITSAT and joined CSE. He is proficient at Football too and pursued his dream while studying.
• Campus: The campus is being developed as a part of the Project Parivartan, it includes renovation of classrooms, upgradation of labs, and provision of excellent hostel facilities. Due to these, the campus is becoming a beautiful amalgamation of old and new designs. It is almost becoming photograph-worthy with a sprinkle of retro vibes.
• Crowd: The crowd is diverse and you will make friends who will support you in all odds and over time your bonds thus formed will be one of the most cherished events of your life.
• Sports and Recreation: The facilities available and game life at BITS is awesome. My friend availed innumerable opportunities to play nationally in football matches and tennis courts.
• Fests: The annual college fest 'Oasis' will give you the rest and enjoyment required with live concerts, cultural performances, food buffets and you can showcase your talent at the event of your choice.

Hostels are all well furnished and the environment is a study-cum-play type of environment. The internet connection is flawless too and you will be able to access an amazing internet speed of about 10–12 Mbps.

All in all, study well in 10+2 and make yourself get into a good college because that will give you the life of your dreams.
