Should I take chemical engineering at IIT Guwahati or CSE at IIT Patna if I want a good package?

Without any hesitation go for IIT Patna CSE instead of IIT Guwahati Chemical Engineering. I have come to this conclusion only after comparing the placement scenario of the respective institutes. Look at the table below comparing the placement scenario of these branches

You can clearly see that IIT Patna CSE has a better placement percentage. In fact, CSE from any mid-ranked NIT will be better than chemical engineering from top IITs.
