I have friends from both KJ Somiya and DJ Sanghavi. Based on the conversations I had with them, here is a brief comparison of the institutes.

- Student crowd: The crowd at both institutes is similar. Both have a Gujrathi minority.
- Campus: KJ Somiya has a bigger campus. It has a full-size football ground, basketball ground, volleyball ground, tennis court, etc. DJ Sanghavi has a small campus but it offers better infrastructure.
- Placements: Placement wise KJ Somiya is better than DJ Sanghavi. The former offers better packages. Most of the companies that recruit from KJ Somiya are from the IT industry. Also, a few telecom companies visit the campus placements.
