Which is better for B.Tech. mechanical at NIT Jalandhar or mechanical at NIT Rourkela overall
My friend is an NIT Jalandhar pass out so I can speak about that only. She regretted getting admission into NIT Jalandhar. She faced some serious problems

Faculty: The professors were below average in their teaching methods. Most lacked the basic knowledge and just read out from books. Moreover, if you don’t win their favor you get fewer marks in assignments. This affects your overall CGPA.

Crowd: It will be hard to find a diverse crowd here as most of the students hail from Punjab itself. Even their language is common within the campus.

Placements: Talking specifically about Mechanical Engineering placements, the condition is pretty bad. The average package this year was INR 7.87 LPA while the highest CTC was just INR 8.4 LPA.

Hostels: The first and second-year hostels do not have Wi-Fi connections which is a major drawback. Hostels 3-7 are also averagely built. Mega Hostels have better facilities in comparison to other hostels at NIT Jalandhar.
These are some shortcomings of NIT Jalandhar which might affect your overall experience. You can research the same for NIT Rourkela and make a comparison. In case NIT Rourkela is even worse, then NIT Jalandhar is your last option.
Which is better for an integrated degree: IIITA or IIITM Gwalior?
According to my alumni connections from both the colleges, IIIT-Allahabad should be your priority for any degree in information technology. There should be no doubt if you are comparing with IIITM Gwalior. IIIT-Allahabad has an edge over IIITM Gwalior because of these two major reasons:
- This institute has produced a well-known alumni network around the globe that too in a short span of time. So, choosing such an institute with a good academic, industrial and alumni record will definitely prove to be much helpful for you.
- Also, IIIT-A has a better placement record than IIITM Gwalior which is often seen as a priority by many of you.

Both are very good institutes but definitely, the IIIT Allahabad is better. However, in case your pool of interest is information systems management, then you can blindly go for IIITM Gwalior, as they provide integrated degrees in IT and Management.
Why did you choose PDPU over Nirma University for a B.Tech?
One of my friends chose PDPU over Nirma University for a B.Tech. Some of the reasons as to why he chose it are as follows,
- He was particularly interested in pursuing CSE but because of a slightly lower rank in the ACPC, he was not eligible for the CS branch in Nirma University.
- The pattern Nirma University follows is like a school pattern. To add to that, there are a lot of restrictions that the institute commonly follows. For example, YouTube and similar websites are banned on the premise.
- The major downside is that you can avail of no hostel accommodation.
- As my friend also mentioned, he chose PDPU over Nirma University because the clubs in the institute are not highly functional as well. You might require needing to plan out extremely well only to conduct a small event.
Other reasons why you should choose PDPU,
- You can receive good and in fact, high placements.
- You will have access to receiving good job offers that are particularly high paying.
- The introduction of a high fee structure usually means that the institute has something crucial either in the Resources or in the Infrastructure. Mainly, your study pattern is commonly associated with the resource and atmosphere of the institute, and not entirely upon the professor.
- You will have senior guidance.
- The president of the institute is Mukesh Ambani, which can give a sharp edge.

To get your RGPV degree, firstly login to your RGPV portal. From there you can apply online for a degree. But you will have to visit the RGPV university personally if you have forgotten the password to your portal or you want your degree faster.
The best and quicker way is to go to RGPV Bhopal University with the marksheet of 8th semester. Apply for a degree there and they will likely hand over the RGPV degree within a few hours.
How do I get a B.Tech degree certificate from Calicut University?
The following requirements must be met to obtain a degree certificate:

Is it necessary to buy a laptop for a B.Tech at LNCT Bhopal? Is it allowed for a first year student to keep a laptop for their studies?
One of my cousins graduated from LNCT Bhopal. According to him, the college does not really care if you bring a laptop or not. It is important only if you don't have a computer system at home.
If you're from CSE or IT departments, having a laptop becomes very important, almost necessary.
The laptop is though not mandatory in the classroom, but you should have it for the provision of self-study, projects and to learn and practice new programming languages. Also it is extremely necessary for practicing coding.
There are strict actions taken so that students do not use laptops or cellphones in the classroom. If it is for a class project or research, you might be able to use it then in a classroom. If you plan not to buy a laptop, you can buy a PC for your house.
Which college is better in all aspects for B.Tech LNCT Bhopal or Banasthali university?
According to some of the reviews online, LNCT is regarded as one of Bhopal's top colleges, but Banasthali is Asia's finest institute.
- In terms of education, Banasthali is great.
- You will find a conducive academic environment here, but you will be cut off from the rest of the world.
- The placements are excellent at both LNCT and Banasthali.
- Because Banasthali is a women's university, this does not imply that it is less enjoyable and more strict. Students here have a fair share of fun too.
- Last but not least, in Banasthali, the CSE and IT departments are highly regarded in comparison to the other branches.

I would simply advise you to take your time and determine which branch you want to pursue before proceeding and then making any decision. LNTC’s performance is something I am not familiar with.
