Candidates qualifying for UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR NET, SLET, GATE, or holding a teacher fellowship are exempted from the entrance test.
Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) has officially announced the list of candidates eligible for the Ph.D. entrance examination for the academic session 2025. The examination is scheduled for January 11-12, 2025. Candidates can check their names from the link given below:

Candidates can download their admit card from the official website of VNSGU, @vnsgu.ac.in. Candidates who receive the admission form must complete the formal registration process within 15 days of receiving the admission letter.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with a minimum of 55% in their master's degree are eligible to apply. A relaxation of 5% is provided for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and other categories as per UGC guidelines.
- Candidates who have qualified for UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/teacher fellowship holders are exempted from the entrance test.
- The entrance exam will consist of two sessions daily, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
