NISER PhD Admission 2024: List of Shortlisted Candidates Out; Check Exam Schedule Here

NISER Bhubaneswar has released the list of candidates shortlisted for Test/Interview for Ph.D. admission 2024-25 in the School of Chemistry. The proposed date for the test and interview is December 16, 2024. Candidates must have qualified for at least one of these National Level Examinations i.e. CSIR-UGC NET (LS or JRF) /GATE to proceed in the admission process.

Eligibility Criteria

The provisionally selected candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to attend the interview process.

• 55% or equivalent GPA in Master’s in Chemistry or allied Chemistry fields
• Students with a Master’s degree in any branch of Basic Sciences with an undergraduate degree in Chemistry (or Chemistry as one of the subjects)
  OR
  M.Tech in applied Chemistry or Computer Sciences with an interest in pursuing a career in Chemistry
• Candidates with a 4-year / 8-semester Bachelor’s degree program with chemistry as a major subject with a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade
• ​A valid score in at least one of these National Level Examinations i.e. CSIR-UGC NET (LS or JRF) /GATE valid for the academic year 2024 –2025
