NBU MBA Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is August 5

New Delhi: The University of North Bengal has begun the application process for admission to the MBA programme for the academic year 2022-2023. Aspiring candidates can apply online through the official website nbu.ac.in 

NBU offers the MBA programme for 2 academic years. Candidates seeking admission to the programme can apply online till August 5, 2022. After the application process candidates need to sit for NBUMAT written examination. 

Candidates are admitted to the MBA course at NBU on the basis of a written examination, followed by group discussion, personal interview, essay writing, and extempore.

Candidates seeking admission to the NBU Course while filling up the application form need to keep the following documents scanned and ready:

• Passport Size photograph
• Signature 
• Age proof 
• Educational Marksheets 
• MBA entrance exams i.e. CAT / MAT / CMAT / GMAT / ATMA / XAT / WB-JEMAT scoresheet
• Experience Certificates

NBU MBA Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates can check the eligibility criteria of the course here: 

• Candidates are required to complete a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline (except performing and fine arts) from a recognized Indian University or Foreign University (As per University Norms) with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate (5% relaxation will be given to the reserved category candidates). 
• Final year students awaiting results may also apply, nevertheless, their admission will be treated as purely provisional. Before the commencement of the first-semester examination, they have to obtain the requisite qualification as stated in point (1), otherwise, their candidature may stand cancelled. 

NBU MBA Admission 2022: Selection Process

Candidates can check the selection process for NBU Admission to the course here: 

•  Candidates fulfilling the eligibility need to appear for the Entrance Test (100 marks) i.e. NBUMAT & score a minimum of 50% (5% relaxation will be given to SC, ST, OBC candidates), conducted by the Department of Management, University of North Bengal. Candidates having valid scores of CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / GMAT / ATMA / WBJEMAT are however exempted from appearing in the aforementioned Entrance Test. 
• Qualified candidates of NBUMAT and candidates having valid scores of CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / GMAT / ATMA / WBJEMAT entrance tests as stated in point 3 will appear for the final selection process. The final selection process will comprise Group Discussion (GD: 25 marks), Personal Interview (PI: 25 marks), Essay Writing (25 marks) & Extempore (25 marks). 
• The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored in GD, PI, Essay Writing & Extempore by the candidates. Any tie on the score sheet may be resolved by considering the score up to three places after the decimal point. 

NBU MBA Admission 2022: How to Apply?

• Step 1: Visit the official website of NBU at nbu.ac.in
• Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id etc.
• Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.
• Step 4: Pay the application fee of 800 INR and submit the Application form. 
• Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
