MNIT Jaipur Begins Admission For Even Semester Ph.D Program; Apply till November 28

MNIT is now taking applications for even semester Ph.D programs for multiple categories including PhD in Humanities and Social Sciences, Management, PCM, etc. The total semester fee for the general category is INR 27950.

The Malaviya National Institute of Technology has started taking applications for the even semesters of its Ph.D program. Selected candidates who have completed their examinations including the project/thesis examination and the viva voce before the date of registration must register before November 28th, 2024.

MNIT Ph.D Program For Even Semester Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for even semesters of a Ph.D program at Malaviya National Institute of Technology, candidates must fulfill the following criteria

The chosen applicant may be given consideration for provisional admission if they have passed all the exams, including the project/thesis exam and the viva voce, prior to the registration date but are unable to provide a certificate attesting to their passing and obtaining the required minimum scores. However, if they are admitted provisionally, they must provide proof that they passed the qualifying degree exam, or at least showed up for it, before the registration deadline; otherwise, their admission could be revoked.

With a relaxation for SC/ST/PWD, the "specified minimum" CGPA/marks implies a minimum of 6.0 on the 10-point scale (55% marks, only in cases where CGPA is not awarded) in the qualifying degree. The "specified minimum" includes a minimum of 6.5 on the 10-point scale (60% marks, only in cases where CGPA is not awarded) for a Ph.D.

Online registration for even semesters is happening at Malaviya National Institute of Technology's official website @mnit.ac.in. The application process will require certain documents including an odd semester mark sheet, Identity proof, and address proof for verification.
