Odisha : State Higher Education Department Releases MBBS Exam Schedule, Check Details Here

The Higher Education Department of Odisha has released the tentative examination schedule of MBBS for the academic session 2021 to 2024 which will be applicable to all the Universities of Odisha.

The guidelines issued by the National Medical Commission was approved by the state government of Odisha and it has agreed to follow the guidelines to conduct the MBBS examination on time for the students who were admitted in different institutions.

Saswat Mishra, the Department secretary has written a letter to the controller of the Examination of the following universities about the tentative examination schedule of the MBBS exam for the year 2021 to 2024:

• Utkal University

• Berhampur University

• FM University Balasore

• Sambalpur University

• North Odisha University Baripada

• KIIT

• SOA

The MBBS part - I third phase result for the 2016 batch will be declared in the month of April 2021. 

The 2016 batch will be commencing their internship in May 2021 and the PG course will be started in July 2022. 

The academic session for the 2021 batch will commence in October 2021. 

The result for the first year MBBS students of the 2021 batch will be declared in September 2022.

The academic session of the 2023 batch will commence in September 2023 and their results will be declared in the month of September 2024. 

According to the order of the state government of Odisha, all the Institutes and Universities have commenced physical classes from December 1, 2020. All the institutes will be following social distancing norms strictly.

The Odisha government has also decided to release a fixed examination calendar to all the 11 medical colleges of Odisha.
