New Delhi: Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) is accepting applications for admission to its PhD and MPhil programs for the academic session 2023-24 through the Common Entrance Test. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website at mkuniversity.ac.in.

As per Madurai Kamaraj University, the last date to submit the MKU PhD and M.Phil Admission Form 2023 is September 15, 2023. The university offers a full-time/part-time PhD program in 49 subjects and a Regular M.Phil program in 43 subjects in its departments and affiliated colleges.

To apply for Madurai Kamaraj University PhD, MPhil Admission 2023, the candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and master's degree from this university in any concerned discipline with not less than 55% aggregate in Master’s degree. 

After the application process, the department research committee will rank the candidates based on the marks obtained in the entrance test and the interview. The PhD entrance examination will be held in two parts for two hours.

The MKU PhD Entrance Test 2023 will be of objective type with a maximum of 50 marks for each part. The first part includes Research Aptitude, English Comprehension, Logic And General Reasoning and second part will be on candidate's desire to pursue the PhD degree. 

For the MKU PhD, MPhil Entrance Test 2023, the online test centres are Madurai, Coimbatore, Dindigul, Chennai, Sivakasi, Thoothukudi, Trichy, Tirunelveli and Virudhunagar (Subject to change depending upon the minimum strength).
