Lucknow university introduces LU centre if Online and Distance Education Program for B Com.and M Com studies. Interested candidates can apply for the program at luonlineeducation.in by March 31. Read full details here!

New Delhi: Lucknow University (LU) has introduced the LU Centre of Online and Distance Education program (LUCODE) for rolling out B. Com and M. Com courses in online mode. This program offers degrees with equivalent recognition to traditional classroom learning. The admission process for the first semester of these online programs has commenced.

Interested candidates must complete their registration and submit admission forms by the March 31, 2024 deadline. Adhering to UGC regulations, admissions will only be accepted till this date.
According to Lucknow University, the degrees obtained through LUCODE are recognised at par with the regular degrees awarded by the university.
Interested students are required to pay a registration fee of INR 250 for both B.Com and M.Com programs. Additionally, the tuition fee for B.Com is INR 5000 per semester, while for M.Com, it amounts to INR 8000 per semester. LU spokesperson Durgesh Srivastava clarified that the registration fee remains fixed at INR 250 for both programs.
In the B.Com program, students must complete six semesters over three years. Each semester will consist of six subjects, following the syllabus identical to the regular B Com curriculum offered by the university.
Moreover, Lucknow University plans to introduce various other courses in the upcoming academic year. These include postgraduate and undergraduate programs in English, Sanskrit, Ancient Indian History, and Economics, broadening the scope of educational offerings available through LUCODE.
