Jamia Hamdard Secures 'A ' Grade in NAAC Fourth Cycle Accreditation

New Delhi: In a significant milestone for academic excellence, Jamia Hamdard, has achieved an 'A+' grade in the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Fourth Cycle Accreditation.

This prestigious award has been given after a rigorous review conducted by the high-level peer team of NAAC where they considered various parameters such as research, innovation, infrastructure and governance following a stringent evaluation process.

Jamia Hamdard University's journey to achieving an 'A+' grade in NAAC accreditation is a testament to its unwavering pursuit of excellence. It attained a good score with a CGPA of 3.41, a significant growth from a CGPA of 3.15 awarded during the third cycle of accreditation in 2017.

Janab Hammad Ahmed, Chancellor and Prof. (Dr.) M. Afshar Alam, the Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Hamdard has congratulated all the stakeholders, including faculty members, non-teaching staff, students, parents and alumni for their contribution to this exceptional success.

NAAC team has interacted with various individuals making the assessment process comprehensive and all-encompassing.

People who were commended for their efforts were Dr M. A. Sikandar, the Registrar; Mr Harpal Singh, the Finance officer; Mr S. S. Akhtar, Controller of Examinations; and Prof. (Dr.) S. Raisuddin, Director of IQAC and Research and Development Cell.
