The IIT Guwahati has published the fourth admissions list for the IIT JAM 2023.

New Delhi: The fourth admission list for JAM 2023 has been made public by the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, for admission to postgraduate degrees provided by IITs. By logging onto the JOAPS portal at joaps.iitg.ac.in, applicants can view the list.

The seat reservation fee for the INI JAM 2023 fourth admission list must be paid in full online by July 10, 2023. Refunds for applicants who opted to withdraw will be processed by August 15, 2023.

Candidates belonging to the general, Other Backward Classes - Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories will be required to pay a seat reservation fee of INR 10,000, while candidates from the belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories will only be required to pay INR 5,000.

The JOAPS 2023 first, second, and third admission lists were made public by the IITG on June 1, 15 and 26, 2023, respectively. Candidates who did not receive a seat in the earlier rounds or who choose to wait for a seat upgrade can now view the fourth admittance list.

The fourth admission list for the IIT JAM will be the final one released this year. IIT JAM Results 2023 eligible candidates can apply for admission to more than 2800 seats in 90 postgraduate programmes spread across the 21 IITs for the academic year 2023–2024.

Step 2: Provide your registration credentials and click on the ‘Login’ button.

Step 3: After logging in, candidates can check their seat allotment status.

Step 4: In case a candidate has been allotted a seat, they can proceed to the further process.

IIT JAM 4th Admission List 2023: Options For Applicants

Candidates must select one of the following three possibilities:

By choosing "Accept and Freeze," the applicant accepts the provided seat and expresses a desire to forgo better possibilities in later IIT JAM admission rounds.
By choosing "Accept with Upgrade," the candidate will accept the seat while indicating their desire to upgrade to better preferences in the next rounds.
By selecting "Reject and Quit," the applicant will not accept the seat that has been given and will instead declare that they are giving up on the IIT JAM admissions procedure. Applicants will receive a One Time Password (OTP) on their registered mobile number, which they must input to confirm their decision.
