GATE 2024 Scorecards Released @goaps.iisc.ac.in; 1.29 Lakh Candidates Qualified

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISc) has released all eligible candidates' scorecards for the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE 2024). The download link for the GATE 2024 scorecard is now active on the official websites gate2024.iisc.ac.in and goaps.iisc.ac.in. 

Officials have notified that scorecards are accessible only to candidates who have scored higher than the cut-offs designated for their respective papers. This announcement was made after the institute registered 8.26 lakh candidates, with 6.5 lakh candidates participating in the entrance examination. Out of these, 1,29,268 candidates successfully cleared the exam.

GATE is conducted annually for admissions to various master's programs in engineering, technology, architecture, science, and humanities and recruitment to public sector undertakings (PSUs). Due to the examination's multiple sessions, candidates' raw scores are normalised to allocate ranks.

Upon the declaration of GATE 2024 results, the Indian Institute of Science also unveiled the GATE toppers list, revealing that three candidates - Manoj Kumar Sinha, Shivam, and Sai Kiran Adelly - achieved perfect scores of 1,000 marks in the electrical engineering paper.

The institute said hard copies of the scorecards will not be provided, advising candidates to preserve electronic versions for future reference. The GATE scorecards will be available for free download until May 31, 2024. Subsequently, from June 1 to December 31, 2024, candidates can obtain the scorecards for INR 500 per test paper. Scorecards will not be issued on January 1, 2025.

Step 1: Visit the official website of IISc GATE, gate2024.iisc.ac.in or goaps.iisc.ac.in.

Step 2: Scroll down and click on the scorecard download link on the homepage.

Step 3: The GOAPS login page will be displayed.

Step 4: Enter the registration number, password and the security pin.

Step 5: Log in to view the GATE scorecard 2024.

Step 6: Check the marks displayed on the rank card.

Step 7: Download it for future reference.
