The Galgotias University 2024 Convocation saw 3, 906 fresh graduates be honored with degrees. Dignitaries such as Angolan Ambassador Clemente Pedro Francisco and Chairman of HDFC Bank Atanu Chakraborty spoke to the students at the event.
New Delhi: Galgotias University (GU), Greater Noida has recently concluded its Convocation Ceremony for the Class of 2023 on March 18, 2024. A total of 3,906 students graduated during the ceremony.
The degrees were conferred to students by GU Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Avadhesh Kumar and the procession was led by GU Registrar Dr. Nitin Gaur. The guest panel included Chairman of HDFC Bank Atanu Chakraborty, Angolan Ambassador to India HE Clemente Pedro Francisco, GU Chancellor Suneel Galgotia, GU Vice Chancellor Dr K M Babu, and GU CEO Dr Dhruv Galgotia.

Suneel Galgotia gave the welcome speech. In his speech, he talked passionately about the importance of Indian values in education. He reminded the students to keep their focus on contributing to PMO Narendra Modi’s vision of "Viksit Bharat – Sabka Saath and Sabka Vikas."
Dr KM Babu then revealed the annual GU report, highlighting all the new heights achieved by GU students and faculty alike in research, innovation, academics, and education. He also spoke about the steps towards excellence undertaken by the University.
Chief Guest Atanu Chakraborty praised GU and its students for all that they contributed to education and academia. He encouraged the new graduates to keep learning throughout their lives and to give back to the community they come from.
GU CEO Dr Dhruv Galgotia thanked the graduating student council members for all their efforts and motivated the students to keep learning in their academic and professional lives.
