In these hard times of the COVID-19 situation, how are you engaging your students?

“The hiatus is created by the lack of motivation among students”

The primary challenge that an institute is facing is to keep up the motivation level of the students, teachers, and staff, to carry out their respective duties. To keep them motivated, we are regularly conducting online meetings. As far as students are concerned, we are giving online classes, webinars and various kinds of non-teaching activities. We recently organized a video competition, a five minutes long video shot by students at home on the topic in house academic and non- educational activities. The participation was excellent; all the videos present on our college’s official website.

“We follow a very well planned mentorship system. Each student is given mentorship under a specific teacher, from the first year till last year, for any assistance be it academic, non-academic or personal.”

What do you see as Elitte College of Engineering's greatest strengths?

“The sheer dedication of teachers to upgrade the students is our greatest strength”

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Explore and let your creative mind run in all directions to click on the best ideas”

I want to spread a message to the entire student community, that in this pandemic situation however hard the life does not lose patience and always be motivated to provide the best service to the community and Country. At the same time, please do not consider this pandemic as an unfortunate incident is our lives. Create an opportunity while being at home.

“In February, we organized a campaign, ‘SAY NO TO PLASTIC’ to create awareness for environmental safety. In the first week of March, we ran a program to create awareness about COVID-19.”

What do you think should be the Elitte College of Engineering top priority?

“We want to come out as an institute of pinnacle for technical education”

We prepare students for technical education. Our primary objective is to train the students competently so that they become industry and job-ready. We used to give in-house training regularly and industry visits before the pandemic. Recently we partnered with Web-flex, Autodesk and TCS. Also, MSME people come to the college campus to give industrial training. In this way, we are keeping the students up to date. Despite this corona pandemic, we are continuing such training through webinars.
