Dharmsinh Desai University (DDU) result 2024 has been released for B.Pharm, B.Com Semester Results on Mar 20, 2024. Students can download the results from the official website under the Examination Result Section of the homepage.

DDU conducts semester wise examinations for all the programs.Results for the same are published in 30-35 days after the completion of exams on its official website. 

The university conducts remedial examinations for students who fail either in internal or external examinations. These remedial examinations help the students to improve their marks.

Students need to pass in the theory, practical and term work of each respective subject with a minimum of 40% marks in each category.

DDU Result 2024: How to Check Online?

Students waiting for their examination results can check by following these steps which are given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website @ddu.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the Exam Results Link and you will be redirected to a new page.

Step 3: Check your result in a pdf file by your name and enrollment number.

Step 4: The result will contain the pass or fail status of the students.

Step 5:Students can take a printout of their result for its further usage.

DDU Result 2024: Details Mentioned on Scorecard

Students need to check the result and inform the COE in case of any discrepancies. Below are the details mentioned in the result:

  • Exam Name
  • Semester with Subject Code
  • Candidate’s name
  • Registration number and roll number
  • Marks secured
  • Controller of examination

DDU Result 2024: Revaluation Process

After the declaration of result, students can also apply for the revaluation process. If a student gets a backlog or fewer marks in any subject. They can fill the revaluation form on the official website or they can get it from the university. 

Students can also check their answer sheet as per the rules of the university. The revaluation results are also announced after a few months of filling the application form on the official website of the university. The university uploads the pdf format pages of their result.

DDU Result 2024: Remedial Exam Application

If the student fails in any subject (either internal or external), they have to appear for a remedial exam. This is like a second chance for the students to pass the paper. There will be two types of Remedial exam. 

If the student fails in any of the internal exams, they need to appear for the internal remedial exam. For the subjects with labs, minimum score of 36 is must in internal remedial and for the ones without labs, 45 is must. 

If the student fails in the external exam, they need to appear for the remedial exam and score a minimum of 60 marks in total to pass the subject. Failing to which student shall be detained. 

Dharmsinh Desai University Evaluation Scheme

Students are entitled to clear the semester if they qualify the following norms and details: 

  • Attendance: Minimum 75%
  • Laboratory work, Term work and assignments must be submitted for each subject

Failing to the above norms, students will have to either face the following situations: 

  • Shall have to repeat the semester
  • Shall not be allowed to the next semester
  • Shall not be permitted to appear in the further examination and his/her name may get cancelled from the list of the students for the examination

In every subject of a semester, there will be three compulsory Sessional exams. The total sessional marks will be the average marks of the three sessional exams plus the maximum 10% of the total Sessional marks for the attendance in theory classes.

If the student fails to appear in any one of the three sessional exams due to any valid reason, they can appear for the Block Sessional Exam which will be conducted by the end of third sessional exam. This will cover the entire syllabus of the subject

If a student does not appear in any one of the three Sessional exams of a subject on account of illness, he/she may be permitted to appear for the Block Sessional exam, which is conducted at the end of the third Sessional exam, & it will cover the entire syllabus of the subject.

Students must also pass in the theory, practical and term work of each respective subject with a minimum of 40% marks in each category. 

Upon release of CPIs, a class will be awarded to the students based on their individual scores, as mentioned in the table:
