You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

In my belief, education has always been the weapon to change the system. Hence I always wanted to strengthen and grow the quality of education in my region and that is why I didn’t choose corporate life and moved to the education sector after my education completion. 

Any insights into how your college could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

We are the only institute or I can say one of the few institutes that allows partial payments for the students. Depositing a complete hundred percent fee is not possible for all of them because the students we cater to are from economically weaker sections. We also provide scholarships based on percentage and government norms. Also as you can see the actual fee is also not as much as it is of other institutes. So we do consider that quality education is provided to the institutes at affordable fees.

What are your views on the placements and higher education of the students from your department?

Here we invite many companies and provide special training to the students where their communication skill is also developed along with technical skills. We make sure that every student gets a chance to prove themselves and we help them in whatever way we can. The alumni students of this institute help in the same way as they are now working in higher positions in many companies so they also visit MG Institute for the placements.

Do you have any extracurricular activities/ programs to enhance the skills of the students or expose them to real-world challenges?

Industrial visits and sports events play a major role in enhancing the skills of students. Since sports bring discipline, teamwork, and dedication in the life of a person taking that very seriously, we conduct many tournaments for boys as well as girls and also make sure one hundred percent participation of the students is there. We conduct industry visits every month or more so that students keep themselves connected with the real world and it develops a problem-solving ability in them. 

What do you think should be the college’s top priority over the next 10 years?

MG Institute’s major priority is providing a hundred percent placements to the students as the sole purpose of pursuing any course is to earn from it and provide a livelihood to the family. Also, we are opening Nursing, ANM, GNM, and various other courses so that great help will be provided in the medical sector and students will get more opportunities. 

As competition nowadays is so high, how do you guide your students to survive in such a competitive scenario?

I want students to understand the word competition, it doesn’t mean you need to be better than everyone else. It just means that one should be a better version of himself every other day which means competition with the self for long success. Everyone needs to have a road map of their journey and work in the same direction and don’t look at what others are doing. One day you’ll always be a better and wiser person if you follow both. 

What would you like people to know about your college they may not know?

I want people to know that we provide good quality education at affordable fees as we know the students here are not having very good economic conditions and also we provide relaxation in that as well by providing installment payments.
